We liked it because being a bungalow made it feel like home. The bed we slept in was very comfortable.The walks from the property are good for dogs. Convenient for shops and not far to actual village of Aviemore

We had a fantastic stay at 9 Carn Dearg in Aviemore last week. The house was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—just a short walk, drive, or cycle to the town centre, making it an ideal base for exploring Aviemore and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future!

Very comfortable stay in a nice, quiet location close to the town centre. Bungalow was warm, cosy and well equipped with everything you needed. Beds were extremely comfortable (better than our own) with electric blankets for colder nights. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this property again. Good communication from host before and during our stay.

The shower was very low pressure. Lack of sharp vegetable knife and no large bowl for salad.

Only complaint is that the main bathroom shower can leak a bit and the bathroom had a few black spots to memory.

House appears small on the outside, but it is very spacious inside, with great facilities and all quite modern. Car preferred to get into the centre, but walk is acceptable nonetheless. Sleeps 6 but could easily accommodate 2 more on the sofas. Overall, excellent value for money considering what we paid.

Great location, close by to everything you need but set away from busy main roads. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Sky tv was a bonus for the evenings.

Great location. It has a walking path taking you to the town centre. It has a shop, chippy and pizzeria, all within 7 min walking distance. It's a quiet neighbourhood, and we saw a deer walking past by the window.

Very comfortable and spacious bungalow. Had everything we needed and was well maintained, clean and tidy. Location is good for the town - about a 15min walk/5min bike ride. Bike storage in shed.

Lovely cosy bungalow, very comfy beds. Set in a peaceful location but handy for accessing shops and places of interest. Saw a deer from my bedroom window which is a lovely bonus.

Well equipped, comfortable and nicely presented property with picturesque surroundings, ideally placed to explore all Aviemore has to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed our family stay over Christmas and would love to visit again. Great communication from a helpful and welcoming host - thank you!

As we were attending a wedding three females fighting over the one long length mirror was our only issue, but this was just circumstance and otherwise the house was fab.

Location was perfect to walk into Aviemore and house had everything you need for a family holiday.

Perfect and great value accommodation for our first family holiday, a two minute drive from the centre of Aviemore, we all loved it (especially our wee toddler!) and are all sorry to be leaving but will make a point of returning again ❤

Both back and front gardens could be nicer to make the accommodation more appealing. If the trees can be felled or pruned then more sunlight would get in to allow the grass to grow and be green with less moss. A gate to keep the dog in the back garden would have been good. You don’t realise it’s not enclosed when booking.

The beds were very very comfortable. Even better than home! A hut for the bike was ideal. All the toiletries, toilet rolls, cleaning products provided were fantastic - even shower gel! Liz was very accommodating to allow us an early entry. Sadly we didn’t make that due to an accident at Newtonmore which delayed us by 1.5 hours in getting there.

Absolutely nothing.

Absolutely delighted with Aviemore Bungalow, couldn't have asked for better. Everything we needed was there,beds were wonderful, location was Very peaceful yet not too far from Aviemore centre. Kids aged 4 and 7 didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend and will definitely go out our way to return.
