Fantastic hospitality, breakfast amazing. So comfortable, every little aspect was thoughtful. Seriously it was like having a couple of nights at a spa break with beautiful toiletries, towels & dressing gowns provided. Highly recommended.

Setting, approximativity to Oban, amazing breakfast and friendliest host.Carol truly was the best host, she went out of her away to accommodate my Coeluac disease condition, serving gluten free waffles, which were amazing! A jewel in the Scottish crown! Can't wait to return!

The room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Our host, Carol, was very friendly and helpful and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The location was perfect if you have a car. It was peaceful, with lovely views of the rolling hills, and yet was only about 3 miles from Oban and the ferry terminal. Breakfast was very good and we appreciated how Carol made a special effort for us as vegetarians. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Carol.

Warmest of welcomes and made to feel right at home. Great standard of accommodation in a lovely peaceful location. Quality comfy bed and had a great nights sleep. We left early to catch a ferry and there was a lovely packed breakfast waiting for us to take in the morning. 5 ⭐

The only weird thing is that our room, stalker, had a bathroom ventilator that was very loud. Also, once you set it in motion (we did by accident) it doesn't stop for X period of time. We got asleep faster than it took to stop. Also the noise you kinda can tune it out because it sounds like a washing machin doing the centrifugation. But otherwise the stay was perfect! We just want to warn about this in case this is an issue.

Spacious room with panoramic views, bathroom with rain shower ,comfortable bed, excellent breakfast , carol & Bobby are friendly & helpful hosts, aspen lodge is an excellent location 10 minutes drives to Oban ferry terminal & town centre, ideal for a short break in Oban or a base to visit the west coast of Scotland , we will return again to aspen lodge on our next visit to Oban

The beds were too soft for us.

From Bobby's warm welcome and assistance with luggage to Carol's top notch breakfast, all was excellent. The view is astonishingly, even more so in a storm.

Nothing really, property is a little way from town, but that’s what we were looking for.

Lovely peaceful location with incredible views. Our lovely host Carol was very welcoming, made us feel at home, and full of terrific advice and tips about Oban and surrounds. The private location and Carol’s help and focus on our comfort made the stay memorable. We should have stayed longer.
