We were only there for two nights but it felt like home the fridge was a great help and a bonus 😀 it's great value for money , we will definitely stay again when we're up that way next year.

The room was clean and tidy it was a very big room and the bed very comfortable Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Nothing. All was great. Great place for a short stay.

Location central to cafes, bars and shops. Short walk down to the harbour. Staff brilliant. Due to my partners difficulties with stairs we were given a ground floor room, at no extra cost. Locals were very helpful with directions etc. The bus journey from Aberdeen was like a comedy show, great entertainment from the bus driver.

We never saw any staff at all in the 3 day stay. There was a used towel left behind in our room when we arrived. Had to phone manager for another bath towel as we only had one for the two of us. No view from the room, as only window in room is on sloped wall and points to the sky. The street where the property is, is very run down with dilapidated buildings and broken windows nearby.

Size and cleanliness of room was fine. Located close to bus station, bars, restaurant's and shops.

Street parking only but we managed to get parked without too much trouble.

The Aspen Guest house was clean and comfortable, it met with everything stated on the website. We would certainly use it again. There were tea making facilities and a fridge, basic but quite adequate.

There should be a warning on the site that it is not suitable for people with mobility problems. An additional handrail on the other side of the stairs would be highly beneficial

When I left a towel to be replaced on floor it appears the same towel was placed on rack over radiator instead of a fresh towel. Hand towel i don't think was replaced when left on floor for a change. Not enough toilet roll provided I bought some extra myself.

Clean and nicely decorated even the funky barhroom! Decent shower. Shower gel provided . Fridge was excellent. Door of room closed securely and seemed very safe.

Excellent location and plenty street parking. We were on the top floor so mobility is required. Room was spacious but a little restricted by a sloping roof section. Slope slightly affected use of the sink. Bed was a little soft (for our taste) and being placed in the corner of the room restricted getting in and out. Very good value however.

Requested a ground floor room due to mobility issues. Had an email confirming it was fine for a groundfloor room. Was put in an upstairs room !!!! Couldn't get hold of anyone to rectify it

Apartment was cold, owner got the plumbing checked but it didn't make much difference I'm afraid. An extra blanket would help. Location is handy with town centre but the street itself feels a bit run down and seedy, although I don't think there's much danger really.

Threa are funny noises in ( too ) small bathroom. Although new, not particullary well done. Not that it’s unclean, but you will have no problems finding hair around, if you happen to collect them.

Big, maybe little cold room, with two comfortable double beds. Beds and sheets are clean. The whole house and the room is newly refurbished. There is refridgerator.

Only a minor thing, shower tray drained very slowly. Just in the interest of avoiding any damage to property might be worth owner taking a look (room 8)

Great location, everything was within short walking distance. Property is a hidden gem, we live relatively local but it was as cheap to stay here as it would've been to get a cab home. I honestly don't think you could do better for the price. Clean and well presented. Easy check in via intercom, might be worth adding that procedure to the advert as it wasn't clear until arriving. It's an easy process though.

The size of the shower is very small and room was really warm and could open the window as the seagulls were making a lot of noise !

Other guests who were so rude we had baby and he is sleeping no one was making noise than also he rudely said can you please stop ur noise I need to go for work and same day we were just parking same guy shouted loudly and said stop the noise we were just parking the car he was so rubbish guy and I know his room number as well
