This is a very charming B&B. The rooms are beautiful, there's a lovely front garden and comfy lounge area. The breakfast in the attached cafe was delicious. Generally the whole aesthetic of the place was lovely and very carefully planned which made the stay feel special. Everything was clean and comfortable. We got a code to collect our key from a box so didn't meet anyone on check in, but the waitress at breakfast in the morning was very friendly!

I think that the room we were in was in the middle.of being refreshed. The paint was lovely and obviously new, the beds and bathroom were great. There was a window seat but no chair and the curtains needed to be hung properly and there were picture hooks and no pictures.

It is prefectly placed in Anstruther. The rooms are very clean. There is a guest lounge which is brilliant and the breakfast is amazing.

One of the most lovely B&Bs we've ever stayed in. It's like a filming location, has a lot of charme and an even better breakfast! The room was very cosy (Nr. 6) with a marvellous view over the city center. Just a short walk and you're at the harbour. Definitely a place we want to return!!

They didn't serve breakfast early enough for us. 8:30 start is a bit late as we had to catch a train just after 9.

The place has a beautiful setting and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come back and stay a couple of nights. They also allowed us to store our bikes in a side alley out of sight.

We did not receive instructions for key collection which caused a bit of inconvenience for the staff. Breakfast provided by the attached cafe was very nice but very slow. My husband would have preferred no chilli sauce on his smashed avocado - or perhaps the sauce could have been served in a separate dish.

Beautiful old house that provided comfortable accomodation in one of the attic rooms with a wonderful view to the water. Bedding and towels all very clean.

It's another ghost B&B, in that it's unstaffed and you self-check-in.

Possibly because the B&B is attached to a café, the food was excellent, with good vegan options.

The room really needs a replacement toilet seat, the one in place is flimsy and potentially dangerous; it fell off the first time I tried to use it, a clip on the fitting hadn’t been secured. It would have been nice if there had been someone to whom I could have conveyed this message in person; I had the impression that this wasn’t the responsibility of the breakfast waiting staff.

The staff at breakfast and lunch were welcoming and good humoured and the food served was of great quality. I was very glad to be staying in a property that was willing to participate in the Stonehaven Folk Festival. The use of the cafe generated high praise from festival participants.

If we could give this place an 11, we would. The property is stunning with a beautiful garden and inside, and it was great value for money. The breakfast was very tasty and staff too were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back at some point.

Charming property in a beautiful little town. Very comfortable rooms and lovely and clean. Check in is very smooth. Host is responsive to messages but you don’t see anyone till breakfast which isn’t an issue at all. Breakfast was very good in the little cafe and the young lady who served us was kind and warm. Beautiful little outside garden to sit in and admire the views. Would not hesitate to recommend Arduthie House.

This is a charming, welcoming B&B, with clear guidance on how to check in, select breakfast (which was very tasty) and settle in. We spent only one night there, but would gladly have stayed longer.

For some reason all the pictures had been removed from the walls with only the hooks remaining. Most of the furniture in the common lounge area was a bit tired.

Beds were comfortable, good location, great breakfast, easy self-checking.
