A small gripe only, I felt the toaster in the breakfast room was past its best, bread took too long to toast. I did mention it to staff who said they would look into, again no hassle from the staff during my complaint only understanding and wanting to help.

I had a 3 night stay, the room was comfortable and perfect for my needs. When booking I asked to be allocated room 13 and on arrival I was allocated room 13,. I was also on the ground floor which was brilliant as I have mobility issues with stairs. Food was great, staff were brilliant, both at night and during breakfast. I will definitely stay here again, in fact I am already booked up to do so. Ardennan House team please accept my thanks for making my stay a good experience.

Bedroom did not have, blackout blind/curtains. The chair in room, one corner was ripped. Paper or paint was coming off the ceiling in bathroom. Pillows were not the best, Maybe its because I like very soft! A little of Money spent in the rooms and this hotel could easy be 10/10.

Food was really nice. Breakfast good full Scottish Breakfast, had everything you expected. Evening Meal the staff recommended Crispy beef and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very Quiet since it was not far from main road.

Nothing bad to say about the accommodation, The cooked Breakfast was ok but need to put more colour on the sausage very raw looking and never knew they made Tattie scones that small 1/8 of a slice !!! But over all staff was friendly accommodating and it was a comfortable stay

This was a last minute booking, hotel not known to me. My request for a ground floor twin room was met. Evening meal was pleasant in the conservatory, plenty space between tables. Good choice on the set menu plus daily specials, portions were ample, staff very attentive. Breakfast menu was fine, varied choice available. Room was fine, no issues.

The hotel was in a great location and though it was busy, the room was very quiet. The room had everything we needed for the stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the included breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

A small niggle was that we arrived for our check-in at 4pm on an extremely hot day but the bar didn’t open until 5 pm so we couldn’t get a cold drink. Had to get back in the car and go into town

An earlier check in without a fee. I had an overnight flight to Edinburgh. I do not drive and the journey to Inverurie was inconvenient . I am 80 and travelling alone . It was my experience when there that the cleaning girls were finished by around noon. So there was no need to wait. I needed a place to settle and rest. I do not have a cell phone. So if I needed a taxi or had an emergency during the night what would have happened??? You really need a car . My observation was that everyone had a car.

My room was very cosy and comfortable bathroom was clean and suitable. I had everything I needed. The girl at check in was very helpful with telling me about where I could locate an iron and board. The internet instructions were wrong and I needed her assistance . The instructions were old and incorrect. in the room folder. Breakfast was amazing as was the pleasant little room and the girl who served me 5 days out of the six was terrific. Efficient and friendly

Excellent breakfast and comfortable room and having the restaurant on site definitely was a bonus as you could relax and not need to travel to find availability of restaurants or eateries in the local area. All in all a very good stay.

Old doors jamming, became an irritation by the end of our stay. Room 2 Lack of USB ports for charging phones etc., Sockets hidden under desk, which involved crawling on floor to find and use, not easy for two pensioners !

The breakfast staff were under a lot of pressure. It was a Sunday so breakfast started at 09.00. That means everyone was up and a big crowd at the door at 09.00. Breakfast needs to start at 08.30 to avoid this crush. The fact that the bar closed at 10.30 and our group had to move out of the bar into the private room at 10.45 was not ideal. The hotel lost a lot of sales by not staying open to 12.00 pm. I would not recommend the hotel for a group dinner because of this.

Asha the breakfast waitress was brilliant but overworked. All the staff were friendly and attentive.
