One of the highlights of our entire trip: from the start, Mike made us feel so welcome and at home. Breakfast was amazing, Mike even took his time to book us a restaurant for dinner, and gave us recommendations for restaurants and the area. The rooms are generous and inviting for short and long stays. It's not your run of the mill hotel, the rooms and common area really tell a story of someone putting actual care and their heart into it. It's a pity we had so many things to see that we honestly didn't get to spend enough time listening to Mike's stories, reading out on the balcony, or just relaxing on one of the (by accident) two huge beds in our room. We could not recommend a stay at Appin Bay View enough, and will definitely come back. Thanks for everything Mike, and see you around.

Our room was a great size, beds comfortable and the little extras especially a fan were very welcome. View from communal balcony was amazing, such a fabulous location. Mike was very welcoming, breakfast was 5 star!

The floor is making a bit of noise when you walk around. Something that can make you wake up in the night when going to the bathroom. But well, all the other positive things will make you forget this little thing.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Mike is a great host who makes you feel home right away. His kindness, smile and excellent breakfast makes you want to come back or tell about to you friends& familie. The house is a bit older but the facilities, bed and power shower are great! And the view is amazing! Within three minutes walking distance you find a great restaurant with lovely people as well. When around, we will definitely come back!

Absolutely nothing - it was perfect

Appin Bay View is beautiful. Mike is the best host - greeted us warmly when we arrived. Enjoyed our conversations and his breakfasts are delicious. Be sure to try his Thai breakfast - 😋 We stayed in the Eyrie suite - the view was amazing of the bay and castle. The location was perfect for all our adventures. Be sure to eat dinner at The Old Inn - just a five minute walk down the road - the food was great! Appin is a lovely area. Wish we could have stayed longer... Thank you, Mike, for your warm hospitality.

The whole stay was amazing. Mike the host is a great guy. Even arranged dinner locally which was very good (Creagan Inn). The view from the Eyrie room is breathtaking. Even more so if you are blessed with a good sunset.

We had an amazing stay at this B&B. The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel special, even helping us book a local restaurant table on the day we arrived, which made everything so much easier. The breakfast was excellent, and our room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Glencoe, making our trip hassle-free. A special touch was the bottle of champagne waiting for us to celebrate our engagement — such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
