Fantastic beautifully well kept house, lovely room, lovely host, great breakfast, home made cake, Netflix, wi fi, great selection of teas and coffees, water, biscuits. Absolutely everything thought of. Only a short walk into Shrewsbury and it was a better decision than staying above a pub. Great nights sleep.

Convenient location - although street parking I found a space close to the house. Handy to walk into town. A very friendly welcome with the offer of homemade cakes. Helpful information also given. My room was very comfy and clean with evident attention to detail and potential needs of guests. Very good choice for breakfast and well looked after.

Nothing to not like

Lovely room and location. The food was exceptional!!.....the best of all the places we stayed at on our travels this summer! Cake (home made with fresh cream) was also provided on arrival and free to be indulged in when ever we liked.

Noisy fan in room 1. But very grateful for a fan!

Tea and cake when we arrived. Really appreciated just having a face cloth with the fluffy towels. Also it was hot weather and we had a separate sheet which was particularly nice. Rooms were beautiful lovely comfortable beds. Sewing kit and emery board in the room. Breakfast choice was amazing. Catered well for our bikes. Love this guest house and will go back.

If you're a light sleeper, take earplugs nothing to do with the guest house but lots of traffic at night..

Great location easy to get to all attractions, Louise was a wonderful host.. Amazing breakfast, homemade cake in the dining room, plenty of tea and coffee in the bedrooms.. Couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay..

Beautiful garden. Lovely room. Attention to detail from the host - home made cakes, fruit, chocolates all freely available at any time. Quality toiletries, including conditioner! Stunning breakfast with a huge choice. An easy stroll into the town centre.

Nothing here not to like

The guest house was lovely with lots of old characterful original features , Louise ,our host, was very friendly and welcoming with lots of helpful tips . The breakfast was excellent lots of produce to choose from as well ,pots of tea made with proper tea leaves none of the dust in a bag here thank goodness , thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anton , we will definitely return, as we are a frequent visitor to Shrewsbury, it’s a very short walk into the town centre , 15 mins give or take , perfect location. Thank you Louise , see you next time

The warm friendly welcome on our arrival from Louise was a great start. The whole place from curb appeal to interior and our room was well maintained, spotlessly clean and has a cosy homely feel. Delicious freshly baked cake was an absolute bonus. Breakfast options were plentyful and all dietary requirements catered for. Breakfast was prepared fresh individually each morning with quality ingredients sourced locally by Louise and Peter. A cosy home from home stay well situated within easy walking distance from the beautiful town centre.

The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and it all tasted delicious. The room was comfortable and despite the heat, we got a good sleep thanks to the ceiling fan. The ensuite was also good.

Louise was a brilliant host. There were lots of extra touches to make our stay so special. There was home made cake and fresh milk you could access anytime. The room was really comfortable with a huge range of drinks including bottled water. The breakfast menu was vast. The location was easy walking distance to the centre. We had a wonderful stay. Nothing, everything perfect.

We were made extremely welcome, our original booking had overbooked and we had to find alternate accomodation at short notice. Anton Guest House really stepped up and sorted things for us with a big smile ( which was really appreciated at the time ).
