Bathroom outdated, no towel rail and shower cubicle on the small side. Fortunately, we are not persons of size, but if you are you may have trouble fitting in Also, there was a persistent droning sound from outside the room. Definitely not AC although it sounded like it. Very intrusive.

Central location, near train station and bars and restaurants. Comfortable twin beds, tea/coffee and milk supplied.

There is so much noise from other rooms and doors slamming all night. View of the neighbours house and concrete yard and timber fence.

Chloe was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived, providing us with a map and highlighting key sites and restaurants. We had the family room which was really large and provided a living room space and kitchen. This was incredibly welcome with the opportunity to wash a few clothes. Upon leaving, Chloe noticed that I had left my Mac charger and kindly posted this home to me with no charge which was going on and above as a good host.

The Anchorage is close to all amenities and although on the main road it was very peaceful. Cloe couldn't have been more helpful.

In room 9, the bathroom fan makes a screeching noise every time it is turned on. In the beginning it scared the living soul out of me in the morning, as I thought an alarm was going off.

Chloe was very responsive and very welcoming. She was a delight to speak with. The guest house location is also superb, right next to the cruise meeting point. We booked the room with the hot tub and it was enjoyable and peaceful.

Chloe who checked us in was very helpful. The room was adequate for what we wanted but sadly we didn’t have time to use the hot tub which would have been nice.

The room could have been a touch cleaner, around the beds you could tell it had just been a quick sweep through. Beds moved quite a bit as well and could maybe use a wheel lock or something.

The lady who owns the guest house and set us up was absolutely wonderful!! I booked this room for my friend and I while we hiked around the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and our room was more than enough for us. The room didn’t have a fridge, but she was super flexible and was able to let us store a few groceries in her personal fridge until we left!

I'm really nitpicking here, our stay was wonderful. The curtains let through quite a bit of light in the mornings, so would recommend travellers who are sensitive to light to bring a sleeping mask.

Chloe was incredibly friendly and told us a lot about the area. The guesthouse is located right in the centre of Balloch, which was very convenient. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Didnt like how room was advertised. I did not want a Hot Tub. The advert said it had to be booked seperately. I made no indication I wanted the Hot Tub, but when I arrived I was told my booking had it included. I did not use it but it seems I paid for it.

I had a little snafu trying to check in as my phone wasn’t working in Scotland, but it all worked out in the end. Having the entry code before I arrived would have been helpful.

The location, a short walk from Loch Lomond, was excellent. The beds were comfy, and the room was clean. Chloe, the host, was delightful.

I'm afraid it needs a little updating - a lick of paint here & there & windows which open properly. There isn't any room to hang wet towels & wardrobe space is limited.

Property is extremely well placed, very near to cafes and restaurants.

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. The shower tray was quite slippy. Shower curtain had some mould on it. Sometimes the bathroom had a funny smell. I was conscious about making too much noise due to other reviews saying the walls were paper thin. I can’t say we heard anyone else but it was always in the back of my mind not to talk too loudly. As some other reviews say, the room could use a bit of TLC.

Location is great. Just across the street from the train station. There is a restaurant next door and others in very close proximity. Self check in was easy. The hot tub was a great addition. The patio area is fenced off and private. The hot tub was for our sole use. Plenty towels supplied. Plenty hot water from shower. After reading some reviews, I thought the room was going to be tiny. It’s on the smaller side but there is still room to open suitcases on the floor and move about. TV had Netflix. I had to message Chloe a couple of times and always got a prompt reply
