Everything was really good snd pleasant, I strongly recommend to stay there! Breakfast was tasty, bed and pillows were so comfortable, host was friendly! I It’s much better then staying at the big hotel!

An Cuan was a great B&B and am happy to recommend it to other visitors ,it was very comfy and excelent breakfast .and Bowmore is a good base to stay while in Islay. Would definitely stay at An Cuan if returning to Islay .

We stayed four nights in Bowmore in a small but very complete bedroom with perfect shiower. Perfectly cleaned each day and hygienic. We were very well looked after by Birgit & Joerg in the morning with an excellent breakfast. A wide choice of breakfast selections. Perfectly located in the centre of Bowmore and always parking naar the front door.

Brilliant stay, I was unable to stay for breakfast due to travelling times but I was met in the morning with a full packed lunch for my day. Can’t fault the service and the lovely owner.

The location was perfect, set in the middle of Bowmore village, opposite the busy, wonderful bar/ restaurant at The Bowmore Hotel. The host Brigit was friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely holiday.

Lovely and quaint little spot! The owner was a very kind lady, there was a pretty English garden, sweet little decorations, and a delicious Scottish breakfast upon request. She was very accommodating and kept up the place quite well. We were near to the distilleries we came to visit on Islay, and the dinner at the Bowman Hotel across the street from the BnB was lovely once we were able to secure reservations. I highly recommend!

Lovely breakfast freshly prepared . Extra toast tea and coffee as we requested . Very welcoming house . Nice and warm . Central to our needs . Good advice from owners about booking ahead regarding meals and taxis . Would love to stay here again

The en suite shower room was very small, but the room was advertised as a 'small twin', so can't really complain.

Comfortable bedroom, excellent breakfast, good restaurant within a few minutes' walk. The famous Bowmore Distilery is also just a couple of minutes away.

A great place to stay with very friendly and helpful hosts. The breakfast was beautiful! Within walking distance of anything you need in Bowmore. The room was made up and restocked daily which was a great touch.

Nothing! Everything was perfect for pleasant stay.

The room was cozy and very comfortable, with a bit of modern and designers touch. The location is great, literally close to everywhere tourist need in a short walk distance (bars, restaurants, the Bowmore distillery, local shops) and with a plenty of parking space. The homemade breakfast with a wide variety of ingredients for choice was delicious and helped to start a day in a right mood. But the real gem was a pair of lovely and very responsive hosts, Brigit & George, that were there for every need and gave very useful tips and recommendations.
