Nothing, absolutely nothing!

Our stay at this B&B were absolutely wonderful! Allan was an exceptional host who took the time to share his knowledge of local dining and area sightseeing. He always made sure we had whatever we needed. I read one review disliking breakfast being delivered to the room versus to sitting in a dining room. Personally, I loved that Allan delivered breakfast to our room. So very convenient! I could drink coffee and eat breakfast in my room while enjoying the beautiful view from my room.

We loved staying at Alan & Alex’s place. It was exceptional, probably one of the best B&B’s I’ve stayed at. Beautifully clean, many thoughtful touches, an amazing breakfast, and the bed was fantastic. I would highly recommend An-Airdh.

The most fabulous accomodation with an amazing view in a great location. Only 15 minute walk into town. Hosts Alan and Alex absolutely 1st class service. Alan in particular makes sure everything is perfect.

We really enjoyed staying here and found the place very relaxing with fantastic views over the Loch with the ever changing view out of the window. We were made to feel very welcome by Alan who showed us our room and explained things to us and gave us suggestions of places to visit on Skye. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to us in the morning as we had ordered it the night before, where you had a large selection to choose from. Everything was very well organised which we appreciated. The town centre of Portree was either a short drive into the carpark or a 15 minute walk. We did the latter in the evenings to our various booked restaurants as the town does get busy.

We were so happy with this accommodation. The room was very nice and the beautiful view over the lake had a different look to it over the course of the day. Allen is a delightful person who goes out of his way to be the perfect host. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing his stories about Skye! Breakfast was great and the parking was appreciated. Book early!!!

Not a thing!

Lovely stay in Portree with such beautiful ocean & Mountain views. Downtown was just a 15 minute walk which we looked forward to each day. Our room was quite spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was very good, arriving at our door each morning. Our host Alan gave us lots of insider hiking/adventure tips that you don’t read about in the travel guides - all so awesome.

For Skye this B&B might be good value for money as Skye is expensive and the quality of the room was high but compared to others in Inverness and Fort William it was way more expensive. That at the others the room was serviced daily but not this one is the reason for a 9 and not a 10. The bathroom had towel warmers so they were always dry but you like someone to clean out the rubbish etc daily.

The room is high quality with a great modern bathroom, the view from our room (7) was breathtaking. It was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. Alan is a great host and very open with suggestions. The photo is a view from our room.

Perfect location--away from town noise, but you can walk to town in 17 min. Lots of choices for breakfast. Alan is the best host you will ever find anywhere--he is lovely. Photo below is what you will see from the enormous window in your room.

Wow! What a wonderful view from our huge window. We saw seals in the Loch. Alan was really welcoming and helpful. He also provided the tasty breakfasts brought to our clean, cosy room. Hot shower over a bath if you prefer a long soak. Restful sleep in the large, very comfortable bed. We appreciated being able to warm up food in the microwave and chill drinks in the small fridge. Cutlery and crockery available. Wine glasses and corkscrew provided. A real home from home experience in a great location. Magical memories made at An- Airidh. Thank you to Alan and Alex.

The breakfast is delivered to your room each morning whereas my personal choice would be to sit in a dining room, however this is not a criticism as the breakfast was excellent, as was the owner.

The location was excellent near to the Centre of Portree, lovely room, comfy bed and clean room with a large TV and amazing views from the room, breakfast cooked to order which was very tasty. Also worth a mention was Alan who was the host, very helpful and informative which came in very useful.

Nothing that we could think of!

Our stay at An-Airidh Bed & Breakfast Portree was amazing. The location was an easy walk to the town of Portree and all the shops and restaurants. The room was well appointed with a beautiful view of the water. We placed our breakfast order the night before and the next morning Alan brought it pipping hot to our suite. We are avid porridge fans and this was pretty outstanding (a old family recipe). This location was perfect for exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye.

This B&B was hands down was our favorite place . Excellent room with great view, mini fridge and microwave. Very clean, great location close to town, great parking. Delicious and complete breakfast delivered to our room on time each morning. Best of all Alan was a great host who was very welcoming attentive and helpful. Also our beds were very comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. It was perfect.

There wasn't a lot we didn't like. The chairs were a little uncomfortable. But would definitely book again. Lovely place.

Alan was very polite and informative. Responded quickly to anything we asked for. Our room was perfect with beautiful views.
