super helpful staff, great shared use kitchen and beautiful views across the island from the window. A sweet place to rest after a day's exploring on the island. Location was also well located with public transport which was helpful.

I would've loved a table in the small room. Also there was a little gap in the door, which isn't bad in summer but could push some cold in in the winter.

Amazing view from the common room and kitchen. Also very comfy and with good appliances in there. Good outdoor area with loads of seating.

The beds and pillows were really old and uncomfortable The huts don’t seem to have any sound insulation and really expensive for what it is

The location is fantastic and so are the views The communal kitchen is big and very well equipped

Poor bike storage. But amazing views.

    - pillows uncomfortable - bike storage very poor and not secure (the type where you lock just your front wheel, and could be tampered by just using a spanner!). It was next to a fire exit door so if rack was full it could be a hazard for people leaving main building in emergency. It definitely feels that bike security is an afterthought. The car park is big so a suggestion would be to install secure bike parking called “Sheffield racks” where the bike frame can be locked. This is our second time coming here so we’re disappointed to see the bike racked haven’t been improved yet.

    - amazing views - clean and well equipped shared kitchen - clean room

Rooms were a bit pricey for what you got. Mattress a little lumpy but manageable. Although kitchen was spacious, if there was a group cooking, it was difficult to get in the kitchen. Could use more info on laundry facilities.

Good for solo traveller, location was excellent and easy to find. Staff went out of their way to sort out room issue and moved me to another room. Kitchen facilities were good, quiet location. View to Holy Island -lovely! And the creation of wildflower meadows around the site were also very nice.

Sleep huts not fit for purpose, should be pulled down and replaced. Noisy, damp, seriously uncomfortable, cardboard towels and should not have the laundry room next to guest rooms as there is zero privacy

The location and the use of the facilities in the main house without which would have made the stay impossible

Couldn't find the staff when I wanted a restock of tea/coffee. The days I stayed were hot, and the window didn't stay open.

view was over to Holy Isle and across Lamlash Bay. Room was ensuite, with access to kitchen and lounge dining facilities. Location was close to bus route, up a longish drive.

My room in the lodge had a fantastic view of the sea, so great for spotting wildlife (a pod of dolphins happened by as I sat on my bed) There's a kitchen for communal use, but if you don't fancy cooking there are restaurants nearby. For breakfast I would advise Little Rock Café in Brodick.

How to get refills of tea/coffee for room if you're out all day - couldn't find any staff. No instructions for the hob in the new kitchen. New kitchen would benefit from some tea/coffee/sugar/salt/pepper kept there.

The sleep hut rooms v comfortable, great beds (Slept really well!). View over Lamlash bay to Holy isle exceptional.

The shared kitchen is maybe a little small for the number of people who could be staying there.

Really friendly welcome from staff. We arrived a day later than planned and communication around this was straightforward. We were offered an extra night’s stay to make up for losing out on our first night. The room and bathroom are not luxurious, but they are functional and clean. The shared kitchen/dining room is modern and has all the essentials. The location is beautiful, with great views of Holy Island. It is a short walk from the shore where you can watch seals and various birds (eg herons).

Nothing, was good value. Only suggestion would be to add a cheap pedestal fan in the room as it was very warm overnight.

Beautiful views, big room, clean and a comfy bed. Lovely comfy chairs by the window. Lovely tables and chairs down in the garden garden. Good kitchen and lounge.
