We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Check in and out was great. I came before check in time just to drop off my bag, but the host said the room was ready and that I could check in immediately.

United KingdomThe suite was in an extremely good location, close to the train station and bus stops. The room was spacious enough and had an ensuite bathroom, which was a benefit. The house seems to be on maintenance, although the room was freshly cleaned before our entry. Last night was a bit noisy due to the new guest. The mattress was old, and could be replaced with the new ones. The host was understanding and helpful. For the price it was a good short stay 😃

United KingdomSeem to be half way through renovating the whole building. Half finished staircases, roughly finished handrails, bedroom walls had handprints / mud on them. Bedroom door lacks internal deadbolt which is important on key code doors as you don't know who has the code. Mattress *extremely* soft/ saggy. Pillows extremely old. Duvet looked like had been washed a thousand times. Motion sensitive lights are far too short, often plunged into darkness while trying to shower.
Cheapest place in south London that isn't a hostel. So can't complain that much, for the price it's passable. Floor and bed were clean. Door locks all state of the art, but everything else is falling apart.

United KingdomThe room was not as shown in the advert - which in retrospect is unsurprising since it was the box room in the house. Lack of carpet meant comings and goings were generally noisy. People did not observe quiet as instructed. More pillows please - they can't be that expensive, also the one provided didn't have a slip on it. One plug socket was unusable because the long-pin of one of them had a broken stub blocking it, so I couldn't plug in the lamp.
Getting in and out with codes was easy. The bathroom was in decent condition and the shower unit is good. Bed was comfy enough. Plenty of shelf space for your stuff.

IrelandI struggled throughout to master the opening of the room. I had to leave my my room open to save me the trouble. I think an easier means of accessing rooms can reduce the stress
Location is excellent as it is close to train station and bus stops and there are handfuls of shops and other amenities locally. I am glad to have had access to the kitchen. I travelled with my son who is on selected diet and I was able to cook some of his meals in the kitchen
