If you’re going to Aberdeen stay there! Charming place run by a young entrepreneur lady who put so much thought in decorating and equipping the rooms. Honestly, better than some four and even five star hotels we stayed in. Most comfortable bed, big tv screen with streaming services available. USB outlets on the sockets, nice linen, big bathroom, water, tea, coffee and nice biscuits. We were greeted ever so friendly by Emma‘s dad who also saw us off when we continued our journey. This was a proper highlight during our stay in Scotland 💙

Big room with seating areas and a super comfy bed. A little more ambient lighting would have really shown off how well this accommodation has been transformed. That's just me though! Staff I meet were lovely and friendly, and very helpful. Great location for me on this trip, with parking, but good bus links, too.

As you enter the car park from the rear of the building it would be helpful to have a sign saying it is 8QR.

The size of the room was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable. The toiletries were luxurious, the towels were super fluffy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pergect location. All in all, we would definitely stay again!

Nothing that could have been controlled. A guest booked the flat above us last minute and were loud and obnoxious.

The folks running this place were the best people we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from. The room was clean and comfortable. We had one issue with a guest above us, but it was taken care of promptly and the owners apologized profusely. Wonderful dad and daughter duo!

Issues with key card not working meant I was locked out of my room and it took about 30 mins from messaging the virtual front desk to having them physically appear and resolve the problem. They were lovely and apologetic and gave me a box of chocolates though.

The property is harder to find as it’s not advertised on the main road which can be confusing if you’re not regularly in Aberdeen/don’t know the area.

As a solo traveller, I was completely alone in the large building. That was a bit spooky at times :-)

Size of the room, equipment, super tastefully furnished, large and comfortable bed, two showers and washbasins, nice seating area and view of the colourful hustle and bustle on the street. Everything was very clean and it was extremely cosy

Stayed due to attending a function at the nearby Chester Hotel. The room at 8QR was immaculate, and the communication made it simple to get access and settled in. The room was lovely and had everything I needed. I'll definitely stay again and can not recommend it highly enough. Thanks Emma.

Just back from our 2nd stay! Quiet area, beautiful surroundings, walking distance to Union Street, walking distance to Albyn hospital, and 10 mins drive to ARI. Toiletries are lovely, decor super cute! And the beds are so comfortable! And there's parking!

Can’t think of anything. We were aware that there was not food/ drink at the property and that wasn’t a problem. We came prepared. As I say plenty places for food and/or drink very close by.

Lovely gentleman at check in who showed us our rooms and gave us advice and history of property. This made us research the house further. Very interesting. Beautiful comfortable rooms and beds. Hot water in shower not a problem. Loved the suite. People watching from bay window. So near to town by foot. Many hotels cafes restaurants within walking distance. Will be back.

what could have been better ? A rug in the bedroom would add to the comfort - understand there are hygiene issues; a fridge is always nice - a bit of a stretch in these rooms. Communal area fridge ?
