The beds could do with a mattress topper. I prefer firm mattresses, but I did wake up with aching hips. Also, there’s no frying pan so ended up going to the Black Lion for breakfast. The WiFi kept dropping so we couldn’t watch the tv, but that wasn’t a real issue as we were there for a family wedding. I also did not attempt to contact management about it as it didn’t cause us issues.

The property is beautiful, well decorated and a fab location for what we needed. Great communication with the management/ owners too. It’s bright, clean, plenty of space and also has parking.

My room didn’t have a bedside table but I had a window sill which was fine for putting things on but I would have liked to have had a bedside light. That was literally the only thing that could have been better.

I loved the fact that the bedrooms were on the ground floor as I have a broken ankle and I’m on crutches. The house was light and had all the things we needed and it was right in the centre of the little town. The bedding was good and the beds comfy. The hosts were very communicative and obliging to all requests.

The second bedroom is a little small for a double bed, although we did manage, but was glad it was for only two nights. Thought the bathroom could do with an update, although the shower was lovely.

Very good location being next to the pub, where they serve very good food, and a cracking breakfast. Very close to local attractions too.

The second bedroom was very tight with the double bed and would not like to have a long stay there. Also, the parking was inadequate. We had to use the pub and public parking.

The car park is tight! Big cars would struggle to get in and out of the allocated spaces.

Quiet spot with a lovely little terrace at the front. The house is well equipped with nice decoration. Two decent sized rooms both with double beds. Good location near the pub but it wasn't open when we were there.

Uncomfortable beds one should be replaced for king size. Too much light coming in windows woken up at 04.30am with sun beaming in, better blinds needed. Nice stay with a lack of sleep!

A LOT of Bright Sunlight (& Heat) comes in to the room from the window blinds!! The bedrooms were Extremely HOT. No fans provided! No insect/fly screens on the windows. Insects like Midgets come into bedroom EASILY!! Parking is EXTREMELY Difficult with a Large Car!! ONLY 1 Front Door key provided
