The double bed in the room we had (#9) was a little on the small side and is not really geared up for spending a lot of time in it (e.g. working, or watching TV), but then again, you don't go to Eastbourne to stay in your room. Make sure you ask for a room on the ground floor if you are struggling with stairs.

The breakfast and ladies working there are superb and better than in many hotels we've stayed in. Great location. Very friendly and accommodating Parking is well arranged and the associated council charge small compared to what you could be charged as standard without a permit.

The property was well appointed and very clean. The room was spacious and airy and the bed was very comfortable with quality bed linen. The en-suite bathroom facilities were excellent with towels, flannels, soap and hair/body wash provided. The rooms contained everything you could need.

Although the room we had was extremely clean, and everything in the bathroom worked perfectly, it was maybe a little tired. But I'm not complaining at all, and if we went to Eastbourne again wouldn't hesitate to book a room at 17 Willington. Thanks.

The bathroom let it down a little bit. The shower was too close to the wall, so i had to stand really close to it to get a good shower. The tiles on the floor didn't look too good, and the shower curtain had some mould on the inside at the bottom of it.

We liked the location, size of the room, breakfast, and staff. The beds were excellent, and the mattress, sheets, bedding, and pillows were all really clean and comfy.

The manager and staff went above and beyond, very friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The location was so very convenient, only fifty yards from the lawns and prom. The breakfast was one of the best I've had anywhere, and included homemade marmalade. We were in Eastbourne for the Airshow and we even saw some practice flying from our room.

A comfortable chair in the room would have been a nice extra - now the only place to sit and rest for a while is the bed.

Very friendly welcome, and we received some tips for good food in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was excellent, and the people making and serving it very friendly. Room was clean. Location is a perfect start point for walks along the shore.

I had a feeling that I came to my granny’s house, because location was so pleasant and cosy and staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is wonderfully located near the seaside, room was spacious and clean, breakfast was very delicious. Highly recommend ❤️

Near to the sea front. Not a far walk from train station. The B&B is nicely decorated with a homely feel. Comfy big bed, delicious breakfast in a nice little room in the lower part of building and very friendly & welcoming hosts.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Everything! Hosts were very welcoming, friendly, attentive & nothing was too much trouble. Our stay was to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary - unknown to us our daughter had rung the owner, Janine, to ask if she could organise a bottle of bubbly & some chocolates to be put in our room for us for our arrival which she was more than happy to do. She even contacted our daughter to let her know it was there! Parking was easy & the £2-35p a day permit allowed us to park anywhere in the zone which covered a big area including along the seafront.
