“A character property that has recently had a big makeover. It looked great from the outside and was light and fresh with good quality products and furnishings on the inside. I was attending afternoon tea in the beautiful orangery. The bar and waiting staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Always happy to help and have a little chat about the wines or food products on offer. The only let down was the lady receptionist who was obviously doing work on her computer. She made me feel like an inconvenience and hurriedly checked me in with a cold manner. Not very welcoming. I was delighted with my room though. It was was clean, bright and comfortable with a big enough and spotless bathroom.”
