“It was a great place and exceptionally good value for money. Comfy bed, nice room. The shared bathroom was spacious and bright; much better in my opinion than the poky en suite you get crammed into the room in a lot of places. The welcome was exceptional. Breakfast for an extra £5 was superb. They found a space indoors for our filthy bikes, which was well above and beyond hospitable. We would have been completely happy for them to be dumped in the yard outside, but as space was found indoors. Lucky bikes! Trudy is a great host.”
“The location was spot on - quiet but central with plenty of parking spaces outside. Entry was simple using the keypad. Upon entering the premises, it was evident that it was spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. Our room was very pretty and stylishly decorated with lovely touches like the throw pillows on the bed (which was supremely comfortable). A small fridge and dining area were useful and the shower was excellent. Communication with the host was excellent and we were very kindly allowed to check in early to prepare for a wedding we were to attend. The property also features a large, communal kitchen which would be be great for longer stays. Everywhere was immaculately clean and very modern.”
