The staff were certainly not rude by any means but were not very friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction work going on while we were there which wasn't the end of the world but did impede our ability to use the communal space near reception and the bathrooms on our floor. I understand that it is because of the location but this hostel was very expensive for what it was. Would've been nice if there was a cooktop in the kitchen to be able to cook meals.

Very awesome location, right on the doorstep of many nice bars, restaurants and shops. This did mean that at night there was a bit of noise from outside at night but nothing that couldn't be helped with earplugs. Many bus and metro stops in walking distance, as well as some key tourist attractions like Notre Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens. The room was very spacious, with lockers and its own sink so you didn't have to leave your room to brush your teeth or fill up water, and the kitchen space downstairs was very nice and big with a fridge, a microwave, plates and cutlery, a sink, many tables and an additional bathroom. There were two showers and two toilets per floor which was largely adequate as I never had to wait for either. The ability to use luggage storage, showers and bathrooms before and after check in/ check out was a massive bonus, very helpful as we flew in to Paris quite early and our train out of Paris was later in the afternoon, so we were able to hang out in the communal space downstairs when needed.

Only down side is that toilets/bathrooms are on a different floor-quite difficult to go back and forth especially at night, however, the stay was fine.

Near the metro station, was welcomed very well no complaints. Shared the room with wonderful ladies as well.

The showers are very small and not ventilated. When we arrived the showers had been set to cold instead of warm. The rooms have no fitted air conditioning, and in the heat the room becomes almost unbearable to sleep in. Small lockers. Our keys to the doors consistently had to be replaced due to them no longer working.

The linen was clean. The location was good. Secure storage room for baggage.

It is on quite a lively street so was quite noisy at night but after a long day in paris and earplugs I had no trouble getting to sleep! Bathrooms were also being redone when we stayed, which was unfortunate as only bathrooms were on the second floor - three toilets, two showers, which may lead to shower queues, but we didn’t experience this.

The location was good, very easy to reach other parts of Paris and landmarks like the pantheon. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds!!! Bathrooms were also reasonably cleans

It was so insanely hot on the 4th floor we were all genuinely dying. 2 fans for a room of 6 people. My key card also never worked so walking up and down four flights of stairs every time I left the room was annoying. Also only 1 bathroom for the whole hostel, 2 toilets and 2 showers so plan accordingly. Wake up early if you have somewhere to be.

The location is amazing such a fun area to stay in. A bit out of the way of the main attractions but if you want to explore actual Paris and not just tourist spots it was fab. Not hard to get to tourist spots either just takes a bit longer.

The bathrooms were a little outdated but the building is old so it is understandable. But they were cleaned everyday so that was good. The location was good except the street could get loud at night.

Lovely location, felt safe in late evening as a female solo traveler, right next to supermarket. Easy check in, good wifi, beds were comfortable, good shower.

You can hear everything, outside or inside, super noisy place - pack your noise cancelling headphones.

Staff were so lovely, I didn’t spend lots of time at the hostel as I was out and about exploring, but when I got in late every time the staff were friendly to see at random times. Facilities were good enough, room isn’t cramped.

My room was on the 4th floor but I had to go to the 2nd floor to get to the washroom. No elevator. The women who were sharing the room made the room a mess. It was fine after they left.

There's no elevator, so carrying my 25kg luggage up to the 3rd floor was a challenge. Also, the bathroom cleanliness could be improved—I'd rate it around 6/10.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Place Monge Metro Station, the staff were friendly and available 24/7 at the front desk, daily housekeeping was provided, and key card access made it feel secure.

loos too few, only two on the 2nd floor for the whole building and one in the basement, moring always needs to wait. bed is a bit too low and shaky. charging socket far away from the bed.

No toilet if you are staying in the first floor, only shower. Either you go to the basement or the 2nd floor.

Walking distance to Place Monge (line 7) metro station. Has free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. Lots of cafe's and places to eat nearby.

There’s just 2 bathrooms for all the hostal and the are in the 2 and 3 floor. The bed was in the 4 floor. The access key dind’t work 2 times, so I have to go to reception
