United KingdomRestaurant issued an English menu, but then withdrew it claiming "It was out of date, and they had not prepared a replacement". There was no air conditioning in the room on what was the hottest night of the year, and since the room was ground floor we could not leave the window open (for security). Choices of breakfast food were limited and poorly prepared. The town of Douai is not nice. Too many undesirable looking people about, and confusing traffic layout.
Room accessible via a lift from the car park, so no stairs. Nice restaurant for evening meal. Interesting bed design! Railway very close

Switzerlandroom was small, although it was clean what I really disliked was the cockroach I found next to the breakfast area, and it is the same area as the restaurant of the hotel (considered fine dining). When I talked to the reception about it and showed the pictures of the cockroach, the answer I got was "It is okay". I tried to explain that this is not okay but communication in English was almost impossible. The majority of the personnel did not speak English, and communicating was challenging.
