The balcony is very much a Juliette balcony - one person can stand on it, which is fine but it's just not very clear from the photos/description.

It was very comfortable, great location, and I really liked the breakfast set up/communal areas. We were big fans of the boiled egg maker and orange juicer!

Not the property’s fault but there were very loud road works going on all day. It was very helpful to have the common areas to be in while I was there. There is a carrefour nearby but a further walk to restaurants. The sidewalks are narrow and the street is not particularly pretty. I should have asked for a room away from the road. The only staff I saw were the women delivering baguettes and croissants.

Kitchen facilities, indoor and outdoor common areas. Communication from owner, easy entry. Close to tram.

It's located a bit off-centre, 10 min tram ride to the Opera and 7 min walk from the tram station to the hotel. The street where the property is on is primarily residential but not very pretty, and the traffic was not so busy, but the noise was loud. The bed is too soft for our liking. The cleaning was quite often done late.

Beautiful decor. The common kitchen and lounge are clean, good size and nicely decorated. The breakfast is good. The staff (although they are not always around) was helpful. I like that the room has a separate toilet from the bathroom. The room is not big but has ample closet and storage space. The price is very reasonable.

We stayed here on our return from Saint Emillion, we loved it so much, it’s like a home away from home. In a lovely part of Bordeaux, we were able to get a great night sleep and recharge.

n/a we enjoyed everything about the guest house and our hosts

Fabulous guest house, room facilities and host, the communal/courtyard is a delightful space, the sensitive interior design, space and style lovely. The beds were super comfy (memory foam topper) and spotless as was the room and facilities (Nespresso pod machine a bonus). Cafes, restaurants and bars a few minutes walk as is the main Chartron shopping district - lots of independent stores. A 15 minute walk along the river takes you to the heart of downtown. Sunday markets on the quay in Chartron district. Our host Ludovic was very helpful and present to ask any advice or guidance. Highly recommend and will definitely like to stay again when visiting Bordeaux again. Thank you Ludovic. PS: Tanjia Room and patio 💜

My only negative is that our room is advertised with a balcony. Whilst it does have a small 'Juliet' balcony, there is no space to sit out which was slightly misleading. Other than that it was great.

Our stay was fantastic. It is in a very peaceful part of Bordeaux but everything could be accessed by walking or the tram/bus which is very close by. The house is lovely inside and our room was very large and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was self serve but that suited us.

We particularly liked the room, the breakfast that was served in the kitchen that felt like home. Also we could drink fresh ground coffee. The rooms are very carefully designed. We stayed at the room with the patio which was amazing. The owner was very polite. The location was 10 minute walk from the centre (during the walk you can discover pretty things) from Chantron's area , a really beautiful neighborhood and from the Jardin public.
