Nothing major just maybe a little more love with the building and more games in the salon.

The staff make this place! Totally amazing particularly the service in the restaurant. Loved the saunas and the easy parking. Half board was exceptional value

Access to the rooms was quite difficult, we had to change 2 elevators and cross a fairly long hallway and pass about 2 swing doors, all with our luggage in hand. At check-in, no one told us that there were trolleys for carrying luggage. The water in the outdoor pool was not very warm, and in the spa area you had to walk barefoot and it was quite slippery. In the sauna, no one used a towel, which I find unhygienic. The worst moment was at dinner when the bill came and the dessert was charged extra even though it was included in the menu of the day, when I asked the waiter why he charged us extra, he replied that it was not included. Only after the head waiter intervened was it resolved and they apologized. I think they just wanted a bigger piece :) It didn't work out for them. A black mark for them.

There are very few things I liked.

We booked ski school through the hotel. We booked and then cancelled lunch for our kids as it was poor and the cancellation was confirmed by both the hotel and ski school, however I had to pay the bill upon checkout that included the lunch charge as nobody in the ski school was available to query it. I send 2 follow up emails and phoned a couple of times, but the hotel have still not come back to me with a refund - of €364 so not insignificant.

    Breakfast was fine.

Some parts of the wooden structures and surfaces in the 4 star hotel could use some refurbishing, especially in the spa area. The spa area could also be scheduled for refurbishment, especially the jacuzzi. An outside jacuzzi could be envisaged. Finally, finding a parking spot can be challenging, even though parking was paid.

Breakfast very good and half-board deal very good too.

As returning guests it is sad to see the quality has declined significantly following the change in ownership a few years ago. Whereas the food used to be excellent, it is now little more than adequate. The soup served at dinner in Les Chanterelles is no longer fine cuisine but a thick purée of the cheapest vegetables - carrot, pumpkin, cauliflower or mixed vegetable - and, as other reviews have said, the main dishes, whilst tasty were often served almost cold. Choice for main dishes is limited to meat or fish, with no vegetarian possibility offered. Individual staff members were lovely, others are clearly just doing their job and at times I felt I was just a number. In the past, returning guests received additional toiletries or a sweet treat, but sadly no longer . If you eat in the restaurant serving Savoie specialities there is little choice for half board customers who do not want to share raclette/fondue unless you are prepared to pay full menu prices.

Location is excellent but ski in/ski out not possible for beginners. The spa area is a welcome treat after a day on the slopes.

The cleanliness and breakfast were a bit disappointing. I dusted our room upon arrival and removed some stains / hairs. The communal areas and staircases were a bit yuk. I also would have appreciated more fresh produce at the breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs not fresh, boil own eggs and other than cucumber/tomatoes no salads.

The location is truly superb and made for a very relaxing holiday. Dropping off our daughter for her lessons was easy and took pressure off the morning / afternoon rush. The staff were also fabulous. Sweet and accommodating. We liked the versatility of being able to visit different restaurants , especially la Chaumière is fabulous.

The room wasn't as clean as expected, the bild frame was dusty in the line can be seen, I didnt want to check it on the top, we found a long black hair in the bathtub. The cold crept along the floor throughout the entire room due to a very very poorly insulated balcony window. (Outside temperature at night -15°C, day -5°C) Room number 309. The wall by the bunk beds is so cold that you keep pushing away from it all night and end up hitting the ladder instead.

The facility was not as spacious as we saw on booking, contrary to our expectations. My daughter who is 16 slept in a really small bad and didn’t have any sunlight during the day whatsoever. Her “bedroom” turned out to be a hallway that leads to master bedroom. Honestly we expected more taking into consideration the amount of money we paid. When it comes to money as well i have to mention that the half board which was included in our price was anything but. All the drinks for the second meal (dinner) were additional payment as was the food which was not included in half board menu. Additionally the half board menu did not have a variety of choices.

The property was in the vicinity of the slopes. It was really good positioned there off. The staff was very kind and eager to fulfill our requests whenever possible. The Breakfast was really versatile.

Although we paid for half board, only 1 restaurant was open. This was a pity. It was also unnecessary to ask for money for the pool machine. Rather include in the room so the kids can play without hassling for cash

Twice, staff showed me individualized attention, unsolicited! I was amazed of the attentiveness. “Oh, you want some soya milk? I can warm it for you!”, “are you looking for water? We’ve put it away but let me get you some” busy staff running a large organization did not forget to give heart warming very appreciated attention. It made all the difference. Thank you for your hospitality.

There was no coffee machine in the room and anything we did prepare using the kettle had to be drunk out of paper cups. Would have expected proper cups for the instant coffee (!), glasses for the water (which we had to buy in the restaurant and take to our room) and a coffee machine for the price paid. We also had a ladies football team staying while we were there. They were very noisy and took over the restaurant. many diners were visibly annoyed and, although we complained, the staff said they were powerless to do anything. As we hadn't ordered at that stage we were able to leave and spend our money elsewhere. I know this is a one off but it was the attitude of the staff to this situation which was most disappointing.

The facilities within the hotel were good and comfortable if a little tired in places. The room was a decent size and was serviced well. Staff were very friendly. Food was excellent and of a good variety.
