From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by cheerful dogs and the friendly host Philippe, who welcomed us like family and showed us to one of the beautifully decorated apartments. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making us feel instantly at home. Breakfast was a highlight – generous, personalized, and tailored to our tastes. It was clear that the hosts put great love into both the food and their hospitality. We truly felt like part of the family and enjoyed cozy moments with both the hosts and fellow guests. Villa Grimm is surrounded by the stunning nature of Alsace, creating the perfect setting for a stay filled with peace, connection, and heartfelt warmth. Very welcoming hosts, spacious comfortable rooms with separate sitting area, big bathroom with the best shower we've ever found in France. Private enclosed parking and a beautiful garden area. Good location. Very friendly dogs.

Beautiful house, very comfortable rooms (there were a bedroom and an adjacent sitting room), massive bathroom, wonderful breakfast, and, importantly, most welcoming and helpful host.

Old wood pavement is a little noisy, but is acceptable considering the age of the villa.

The position is perfect and peaceful. You can reach all small villages and vineyards in 15/20 minutes by car. The villa is very clean and the hosts are super nice, ready to help you by providing info about surroundings activities/locations. Breakfast is super and fresh and genuine. The two furry friends are adorable, the barrage on the stair prevents them reaching the guest rooms (not a single hair found).

Staff is very helpful and kind. You feel like you are living in a fairytale because of the atmosphere of the house and the decoration. The garden of the house is very very nice. And the breakfast was very delicious. Every detail of the journey made us feel very special . Thank you 🙏

If I could give more than 10 stars, I absolutely would! Philippe, Nicolas, and their two lovely dogs made us feel at home. Their warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail are truly unmatched. The house is a masterpiece, with every single detail thoughtfully curated to create a perfect harmony. Our suite was beyond amazing—spacious, beautifully designed, and with a cozy living room separate from the bedroom. Everything was spotless, and the care they put into every aspect of our stay was evident. Saying goodbye was so hard, but I’m already counting the days until I can return!

What a beautiful house and wonderful host! The room was so clean with huge space, and it was so comfortable like home! The host Philip was amazing and kind host, and the breakfast was just wonderful with fresh ingredients! This was the most our favorite place we stayed during our trip and would love to come back! We couldn’t spend more days here because of our planning but our recommendation is let yourself go and enjoy with they :)

Philip and Nicho were the perfect combination of kindness and hospitality. Our stay there was one of the best nights in our trip around Alsace and Switzerland. From the beginning they were incredibles with us, the house is exquisitely decorated (you want to buy everything you see haha) and the rooms were perfectly comfy and cleaned. Obviously if we’ll come back to this area, this would be the first option but probably we’ll have to change our road trip in order to visit you guys! (wherever we’ll going). Thanks again for everything, this is the perfect example of what a host would be. The dogs are amazing, both of them. Incredible breakfast and perfect recommendations to visit the near places. Villa Grimm was one of the very best chambres d'hotes of the many we have stayed at in France. From the moment we arrived until our departure to continue our journey from Italy to Calais we were made most welcome by our hosts. A very comfortable bedroom was accompanied by a large bathroom with a most excellent shower, and a sitting room with a table and chairs. We were able to eat our picnic supper in the delightful garden and our hosts ensured that we had everything we needed. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious.

Villa Grimm is a beautiful house in a quiet village surrounded by nature. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly, both in person, as via mail/text. They like to have a talk with their guests but also always respected our privacy or need for rest. Philippe even made us some great dinner when there were no restaurants open. The dogs of the house were just as friendly and we loved getting greeted by them. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and had a nice sitting room attached. The bathroom was big, clean and well equipped. Overall, the home is very nicely renovated and decorated. You can also sit outside in a beautiful garden (if the weather allows it).

If I could give 11 points, I would. What a dreamy place, furnished with so much love and attention. You could probably spend the day just being stunned by all the things to look at in and around the house. The garden is a oasis of recovery. Phillipe is so kind, spoiling us with ice cream, delicious breakfast and drinks. And I'm in love with their doggies - especially Simon, which I would have adopted immediately if they let me ;) thank you for everything!

Philippe‘s Villa Grimm is a lovely place to calm down and enjoy the nature. the furniture and decoration is beautiful with all its details. Philippe is a great host. The location of the hotel is in a charming commune surrounded by hiking areas. Philippe is a very helpful and welcoming host. We enjoyed our excellent breakfast while our dog was having fun in the garden with her furry friends. Everything is very clean and perfect. Thanks again!
