I can't say enough good things about our stay ay Villa du Cedar - it was truly exceptional! Eric and Oliver have created an oasis in Honfleur, you can really see the care and thought that went into every piece of this beautiful house, property and guest experience. The location is ideal, an easy 7 minute walk to the water, which is lined with delicious restaurants and cute shops. I know my husband and I will be go back to Honfleur just to stay here again and enjoying the charming town.

We had a marvelous four-day stay at the charming and elegant Villa Du Cedre. The historic home has been completely renovated from top to bottom in an exquisite style with both modern flair and historic flourishes. The moment you walk in the front door, you are greeted by an elegant living area with two large rooms where you can relax and read. The house is filled with the kind of special touches that you rarely find in most high-end accommodations--from beautiful lighting and wallpaper to carefully selected antiques and accessories. Our room was very comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. The daily breakfast in the stunning garden was a treat as well. But the icing on the cake are the owners and hosts, Eric and Olivier, who are wonderful, kind and helpful. They truly made our stay special!

The setting , the ambience , of comfort of the rooms were really like an oasis . Breakfast delicious. The owners are there to help with anything you need ; you really feel how much they care about your experience . It’s a quiet location yet short walk to the harbor , restaurants , galleries and hiking paths . Beach is even walkable . Coming back to the pool after a day out was really refreshing way to end a day We can’t wait to return !

Located on a very narrow street. Was challenging to navigate in a bigger car. Maybe okay with a tiny car.

Nice little villa in quiet neighborhood and yet walking distance to old harbor and all the activities. Eric was an excellent help. Took care of everything including parking my car.

Excellent continental breakfast ( yoghourt, fruit, different tyoes of croissants , breads , meat , eggs, cheeses that varied each day . The owners were so helpful and lovely and friendly

The hospitality of Eric and Oliver as our hosts for the weekend was exceptional. The hotel is a delight - beautifully decorated and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very generous and the location is very close to the centre of the town. We would strongly recommend the Villa du Cedre.

Fantastic villa with a gorgeous garden and swimming pool. The style and architecture are really marvelous with a lot of attention to creative details. Both hosts Eric and Olivier were very pleasant and gave you a warm house feeling. The luxurious breakfast in the beautiful garden is a great start to the day! Top location in walking distance of the Honfleur center. Eric and Olivier also give you great hints about restaurants and places to-must-see. We definitely come back!

A slightly bigger shower room. Total blackout with full curtains or blinds would have been good. But these are very minor things compared to the overall quality of the hotel and the wonderful experience we had.

We loved everything. The level of service and assistance from Eric was wonderful and of the highest level. The decor and ambience of the hotel was excellent and very tasteful. The bed was so comfortable (especially the pillows). I would highly recommend this hotel for couples who would like to experience a memorable and special stay in Honfleur.
