Nothing -everything was great!

It was an amazing suite of rooms (we even had our own kitchen) with a wonderful view across the river to the cathedral. Everything was immaculately clean and the hosts had thought of everything. The decor was beautiful and the whole property had been tastefully and luxuriously designed and decorated. Mario is a fantastic host and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming - and breakfast was lovely! One of the nicest places we've ever stayed!

We loved our stay at Villa Caroline. Communication beforehand was easy and finding the property wasn't difficult. The view from the breakfast terrace across to the Bishop's Palace is stunning. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a choice of soft or harder pillows. It was on the ground floor and had its own private sitting out area with a coffee table and chairs. We were opposite a lovely kitchen and dining area which guests could use to make tea and coffee, or even use to make a meal at lunchtime or in the evening. Breakfast was fantastic, being made to order and included french bread and croissants, home-made jams and preserves, as well as muesli, yogurt, fruit and excellent coffee, all eaten on the terrace looking across to the cathedral and palace. The owners were extremely helpful, giving us lots of information about where to eat and also looked after our luggage after we had checked out. It was perfect.

Stylish villa close to the banks of the Tarn. Stroll across the newly refurbished Pont Vieux to visit the magnificent cathedral and numerous city centre restaurants. Very comfortable ground floor room with it's own small courtyard. Excellent breakfast served on the terrace. Friendly helpful staff.

Wish one of the room had a bath and the bed was a bit hard which I know many will love. So only a negative to me.

Parking is a five minute walk away because the street is too narrow. The upside of that is that there is little or no traffic.

We don't have expectations about breakfast because we like the individuality of the hosts. Mario made a delicious grated tomato mix on toast. It is a 10 walk into the old centre of Albi. The house is old and has been beautifully restored. Great view across the river to the cathedral.

The building was old and full of character but with wonderful modern facilities. The hotel had a terrace with stunning views of the city. Our room was spacious also with a view of the cathedral and city and we had access to a small kitchen off our room where we could make tea, coffee etc. The host, Mario was very attentive, friendly and engaging, he did everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing, even booking a restaurant for us for dinner.

We loved the location and view of the cathedral, the convenience of walking across the river and into the heart of Albi. The owner was gracious, a perfect host who treated us like family/friends who were staying in their home. Can’t wait to return to Albi and spend more time in the room that we reserved.

Amazingly designed stunningly finished B&B only outshone by the host. Stayed in the room with patio. Large room with excellent sized bathroom and private terrace. Breakfast was delicious with homemade pan con tomate fresh pastries and great coffee.

Lovely big room in a quiet area, with fantastic views of the city, river, and cathedral. With a great terrace and only a short walk to the centre of Albi, Villa Carolina was perfect for our stay. Mario was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and his breakfast was delicious.
