We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Arthus Bertrand villa in Noirmoutier. The building is stunning and beautifully maintained, with so much character and charm. The team was incredibly professional and attentive, making the entire experience flawless. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay; enjoyed being off season with the hotel not to busy. Great breakfast; hosts were excellent and assisted in finding dining options. Room and balcony were spacious and clean.

There is parking on site, but the amount could be an issue in the height of the season or if a conference is being held at the hotel - which it was when we arrived. Evening meals were really nice, but the menu was somewhat limited - esp if you are staying more than a couple of nights; plus there is no evening meal option provided on a Sunday evening.

The hotel certainly has the wow factor as you drive up to the gate. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke English; which is much better than our French. The grounds are beautiful and the inside of the hotel impressive. The room was clean and 'roomy' and very nicely decorated. Breakfast is a nice buffet and in the Sunday we had the brunch offering, which had some great dishes. The location of the hotel, means you need to walk, drive or cycle to places to eat in the evening, if not eating in the hotel. But there is a 'back gate' from which is a 10 minute walk to he beach and a couple of places to eat. The grounds re fenced and gated and so it feels safe and secure. It is a quiet location.

Rooms over kitchen area very noisy in morning . No light breakfast option. Needs manager on site every day to quickly resolve issues .

The EV charger in the car was completely hidden from view by (non-electric/hybrid) cars parked in front of it. It's a shame because I didn't see it and had to go to town to charge my hybrid car. A traffic sign allowing parking for EV-only would be great.

The weather!! The only thing is if you are to eat out you need to make reservations at the local restaurants which to be fair is not the hotels fault!!

The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. As an example we were provided with lunch on one day as we had missed the restaurants in town due to the weather. The room was comfortable and very clean. The restaurant staff were also excellent and the food was delicious. Nothing was too much - thoroughly recommend

The restaurant was closed several days in high season and we didn't get this information before. There is no air conditioning so this is not for staying in summer. Really bad place for July. Villa is really beautiful but not worth the price at all.

The property made an enquiry before our arrival to know if we had special wishes. I spent some time filling in the form and looking through the website to express our preference. We ended up having not at all the room I was hoping for. No négociation was possible at the desk. Our room was really small and had no view. Overlooking the parking entrance. Nothing like the romantic stay we wanted to celebrate a special event and which I had planned for my boyfriend. It is not worth sending an enquiry if you do not look at the answer provided by the customer. Not good value for money. This is applies both for the bedroom we had and for the dinner which was really expensive for France.. We will not return.

The house is very unique and in a good location. The building and the bedroom were extremely clean. The restaurant food is high quality level.

Only one person to deal with reception,drinks etc had a 20 minute wait for a drink. Breakfast ridiculous price at €25 per person not worth it. About a mile from the centre of town.

Lovely property. Very comfortable beds and room. The sitting room and other downstairs areas are beautiful
