We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very friendly and attentive to our request and needs. The room was silent and well furnished. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning on the rooftop with local fresh products. The location is very central, super close from the train station and from the ocean and the center of the summer city.

If you want beach holiday you would better off being further south near the Moulleau area. Which a bit chaotic with bikes and people but a different vibe.

If you want to be near the station, great restaurants, it's terrific. Very central..Chez Pierre was excellent and hotel recommendation. The staff were amazing. The receptionist did our room when the cleaner forgot.

The WiFi did not work in the room There was a lack of privacy in the toilet - the door did not close fully and had some clear glass panels. Also no privacy in the shower - no door at all Otherwise the hotel was very good. Excellent location. Very helpful staff. Excellent Breakfast

The room had only limited storage space, but enough.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, someone always seems to be on reception. Room was very clean and quiet. Perfect location, especially if you're travelling by train, as we were. A small but professional hotel. Just 3 minutes walk to the railway station, but also only 5 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Very enjoyable stay.

The sound of regular use from neighboring rooms was extremely easy to overhear; no doubt they also heard me. However, as people stomped about the building, the modern metal and wood-treaded stairway proved to be a near-constant noise-maker of creaks, pounding, and echoes that were easily heard in the room. The room was small, and the bathroom was poorly lit. Obviously, the awful decision to embrace a form-over-function design philosophy has nothing to do with the staff on hand. However, in my experience, the towels and toilet paper were far too thin for any stay at any price. I also found that the internet allowed access to only one device at a time, requiring near-constant use to avoid a restart of the entire password process from scratch.

Friendly, helpful English-speaking staff. Proximity to the train station and the central district was excellent. There was a small yet lovely upper-covered patio. The room was clean and cleaned well throughout my stay.
