How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room felt a little tired, but otherwise ok.
Comfortable and pleasant conference style hotel. Nice quiet location which is around a 20 minute walk to the nearest subway station., Then its 2 or 3 stops into downtown Lyon. Facilities are good and grounds were very impressive.

Very nice hotel located not far from the highway. Private parking is a huge plus. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was really good too. Friendly staff.

It's quite far to the centre of Lyon, which I knew of course from the map so that's not a problem. However, although there's a nearby bus stop, I would recommend checking the timetable if travelling by bus and not coming back late in the evening, as I had to get a bus to a further stop and the walk was unlit and didn't feel terribly safe. The nearby bus stop was fine though. Also the entrance is not where marked on Google maps! You have to walk a bit further...
Staff were very kind and helpful! They generously accommodated my extra requests and enquiries and couldn't have been nicer. Really contributed to my enjoyable stay. Room was clean and pleasant. The hotel is set in a small but lovely park which I wished I'd had more time to explore. I did go for a short walk though after check out before my train and it was beautiful. (Be warned though, the picturesque building in photos is not the actual hotel building!)

The only tiny thing it’s a squeaking door in a bathroom. However it’s not a big deal.)
Good location, easy and safe to park a car. They have an own property for that. Very very friendly staff.

Some corporate event was going on and they had a party until late at night in the garden, right under our window. We were disturbed by the sounds of laughter and loud music until quite late. Buffet breakfast was average.

No food served at the restaurant, and there are no walking distance restaurants around (although they do offer jars of food that you can buy there) Room smelled of tobacco a little.
The room was big enough and clean. We liked the big bathroom with the walk-in shower. Nice location, quiet place with lots of trees and flowers. Large, free, gated parking, no height restrictions. Free wi-fi, good signal.

Nothing really bad but eveything is ok. No staff after 10pm.

The floor/carpet in the corridor was rather dirty and looked/smelled like it should be replaced. The restaurant was closed which should have been communicated beforehand. But there were tables and chairs in the garden to eat a take away or picnic.
It's a conference center close to the highway but in a quite part of town surrounded by a lovely park. Reasonable room with a good shower and great beds. Super friendly people at the desk and a great breakfast was served.

No usb socket to charge my phone, no restaurant or bar as there was a conference on, this meant I had to walk over 1km to find somewhere to eat through a not so safe area, this was also during the riots so I felt very vulnerable
Away from the centre in a quiet area and the gate into the carpark so I felt my motorcycle was safe, clean and comfortable
