No detractors. Everything was as expected.

Very central location within the old medieval city walls. It was close to the historic sights and a nice stroll to "La Bastide" via Pont Vieux. The host was easy to reach and ready to answer any questions. The apartment comfortable fitted four with comfy beds and aircondition. The spa in the garden was a plus as well!

The parking was described as across the street from the entrance. But it's across and down from the walled city entrance. You carry your luggage 7-10 minutes across cobblestones. Then you have to pull your car from that lot and repark in a different one. We did see one car with the window broken into in the lot so be sure to remove valuables.

We were right in the walled city. No cars were allowed but those bringing supplies so it was pleasant. Prices high as expected in tourist area but lots of good choices. It was 90 degrees during our stay so we didn't hot tub but it would have been nice. lots of hangars and shelves for clothes. Selections of wine for purchase if you arrive and want to relax

The toilet is downstairs, but it didn’t bother us.

Great location inside the castle. The spa was a plus to relax after a busy sightseeing day. The check in instructions are very clear. The price is very reasonable. We enjoy the stay very much! Thank you.

Was pleasantly surprised when we entered the property. It was spacious, bright and clean. The hot tub and little garden area was just perfect. We absolutely loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

Maybe some milk & bread as there were no supermarkets in the area, or at least a warning so we could prepare for that

Location, spacious bedrooms & comfortable beds. We only used the jacuzzi once as we did a lot of walking that day & it was cooler, other days were very warm.

This place was fantastic with a great location in the old city. I would stay there again and recommend it for anyone. The bedrooms were upstairs which was no problem for us but if you had trouble with stairs could be problem. Hot tub was so great as was the small patio!

The shower room was quite small and off the main lounge as was the toilet. However the likes definitely made up for this!

We loved the location of the property. Very central to all the restaurants, bars & shops. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. The jacuzzi was a nice addition ( to note - it did take up most of the outside area space).

The only tiny thing we would comment on is the need for a good sharp knife to cut through the delicious French bread

Ours friends stayed here a couple of years ago and recommended it. It’s in the heart of medieval castle, so location is perfect for exploring. We stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t have been happier. Comfortable beds, clean and well maintained appliances. The hot tub is lovely after a busy day exploring and walking. They supply a little shot of chlorine for the hot tub which you put in each day you use it. There is heating and aircon so you’ll be cool or warm depending on when you visit. It’s spacious enough for a family or group of friends. The communication from the owners was excellent, with clear instructions for arrival, parking etc. The wine fridge is a lovely touch - you just leave the money on your departure for whatever you’ve consumed. They provide tea, coffee pods for the machine and the usual salt, pepper and cooking oil. We ate out mostly, but the kitchen is good enough to prepare light meals and snacks. All in all, a fantastic home away from home

The host was excellent and the place was very clean and accessible. Many amenities were available and the location cannot be beaten. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

The property is located inside of the wall of Carcassonne and close to everything you want to visit. It is so perfect!! Additionally, we had the chance to do night visit of the whole town with almost no other tourists. The host provided very clear instructions how to get to the parking and to the apartment. The apartment is comfortable with everything plus a jacuzzi.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable.

We could not believe the location. This Gite is nestled within the inner city walls of the medieval citadel. No traffic, no noisy tourists! We were just a stones throw from very nice bars and restaurants and we were pleasantly surprised that nothing was hugely overpriced.
