This is a special place. Excellent location right on a beautiful sandy and quiet beach (even during busiest week of summer holiday season). Very good breakfast with sea view. When we arrived, we decided to stop our on the road trip and just enjoy!

Fabulous location, peaceful, calm and straight onto a lovely quiet beach from the garden. Super views across the bay. Enjoyed cocktails in the shady garden looking out over the bay. Nice restaurants on the beach and in Cargèse ( fab, unspoiled little town). The hotel is simply furnished but charming and clearly loved by the family who have owned it for many years. I hope that continues for years to come! The best sea views are rooms 8, 9 and 10 that have wide open vistas.

Not the hotel's fault, but I found the amount of little flies at the beach annoying and more than at other beaches on the island. However, this seems to be due to the time of year of our visit and apparently no problem in the summer.

Nice breakfast and good choice. Gorgeous setting by the beach. Lovely to revisit this hotel after 17 years and still find the same nice members of the family running it. This is a real family run hotel with a personal vibe. Hope to be back in less than 17 years!

Gorgeous location, right on the beach with trees all around. On the off season the beach was very quiet and perfect for us swimming. The rooms are all very clean and the sea view rooms have very private balconies. The staff are very kind. A nice trail from the beach up into Cargese town for shop and restaurants. We ended up returning and are already planning our next trip.

Very nice and cosy hotel right at the beach! The hotel is quite simple, but you can feel that everything is made with love and care. The hotel is neat and very well maintained. Our room was cleaned daily. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan on the ceiling, and it did make a difference on a hot day. The host is super friendly and helpful, and so is the staff! To facilitate the communication I recommend brushing up on your French or learning some basic phrases in French. We loved the location of the hotel - the sea is literally a few steps away and there were very few people on the beach at all time. The sea was crystal clear and warm and there were some fish as well. 😊 The beach is sandy, which makes walking into the water very comfortable. You can also get a parasol at the hotel for free. The village with cafés and a supermarket is about 15 min walk uphill, and there are also some cafés on the beach close to the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful terrace where you can eat your breakfast enjoying the view and the sound of the sea - we absolutely loved it!!! By the way, the breakfast was very nice (would be nice to have more fresh fruit and veggies for breakfast, but in general it was good), especially the croissants and the local jams! Definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and quiet beach holiday!

(really optional) a better choice of vegetarian options at breakfast would have been appreciated. For the rest, nothing really to complaint, everything was great.

The hotel position is spectacular. Perfect to chill in your room at the sound of the waves. Rooms are small and the bathroom a little old, but in general they are super comfortable. The hotel is simple, in a good sense, perfect to really appreciate Corsica's spirit!

There was a good variety of choices including fruit and the usual French style pastries, meat and cheeses. Breakfast could be taken alfresco on the terrace or inside.

Signage in Corsica is bad in any case, but a couple of signs to the hotel would have been useful. Even with GPS we had trouble finding it. The rooms are small, but clean and relatively comfortable - our 'garden view' was actually a view of the car park. The bed was comfortable for me, but my husband actually had to move to another location - not a bed for bad backs! Breakfast was normal for a French hotel, basic. There was a continual, albeit faint, background smell of rubbish. Some of the staff were friendly, but not all. Could be frosty and unhelpful.

It is on the beach, so the views from the breakfast terrace are good. The cleaning staff were lovely - friendly and efficient. The fan in the room was very effective.

There is no real reception, so just call them when you arrive. - no air-conditioning in the room, only an old big fan on the ceiling - no fridge ( the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, seriously not even a fridge?) - no TV (I don't care, but someone does): - very old facilities: broken shower door, lamp in bathroom that mournfully blinks from time to time; - walls and doors were not made to isolate any sound - airdryer is only on demand on reception. - weird smell (of toilet?) in the morning near rooms 9-10.

- great location with direct access to the magnificent beach with several restaurants with a walkable distance (via beach). - great view to the sea if the room has it; - good parking. Sometimes there is no place, just park nearby, and in the evening, when most beach visitors go away, you can park closer; - earlier breakfast is possible on demand; not many options but fresh and decent. . - early check-in at 11 a.m., rare thing. But all of this, unfortunately, will not justify the ridiculous price, and I'm not sure why the rating is so high.
