How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe view over the harbour, the breakfast (dinner also very good), best shower we’ve ever had in a hotel.?Staff all very friendly.
Room was a little small for the price.

Verified reviewthe only positive things were the position (right on the sea) and the jacuzzi and swimming pool
we got the "apartment", 2 room a bathroom and a kitchen. Everything super small, I think the total of the apt was 30 square meters. probably the target is a family with 2 small kids, not 4 adults. They can advise you on that, they did not. There was absolutely no space to open even a small trolley in the rooms, just the space for the beds. The staff was very bad in english, for a 4 star hotel at 400 euro a night, I expect skills to face international clients. We have been around Bretagne 6 nights, this was the worse hotel, especially considering was the most expensive.

Verified reviewClose to the port and the centre
Room very old, not clean, flowers on the balcony dead, mosquitos in the elevator, I asked for honey … it was finished. The price is not appropriate for the room.

Verified reviewThe location was lovely and there was a great view from the balcony.
I felt that the staff were pressuring us to eat at the restaurant and book in for breakfast when we first arrived. There was no explanation of how, or when the spa worked. The actual fit out of the rooms was very dreary. The walls are very thin and therefore the stay could be noisy. The hallways are both garish and poorly lit.

Verified reviewThe location, right on the seafront, was ideal. Perfect for an evening stroll after dinner. There is a super little beach literally a few yards away. The buffet breakfast options and quality were good and varied - something for everyone. The hotel staff were, without exception, helpful, courteous, and efficient. The hotel facilities were good and clean.
Nothing, everything was great

Verified reviewA perfect location with lots of lovely walks from the hotel. Friendly helpful staff, allowed us to leave our luggage before our room was ready. Beautiful room with mood lighting and really comfortable bed. The shower was great with different spray settings. We didn't have breakfast and didn't have time to use the pool but we would love to return.
The view wasn't the best, a room at the back of the building, overlooking other buildings. Sea view rooms have a great view!

Verified reviewThere are not enough superlatives to describe this place for me. The general ambience was excellent - it is a relaxed hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The seafood - we had dinner there on two nights and lunch on another day - was just outstanding. The pool, the lovely location, the abundant parking - where does one stop? I don’t think we have hotels in England that somehow manage to combine all these qualities at an accessible price. We intend to return.
I really didn’t want to leave.

Verified reviewRoom was very clean and comfortable, though a little cramped, and we were glad to be on the ground floor. Breakfast was superb, best we've had whilst travelling through Brittany. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Our experience in the restaurant was a little mixed. Starters were excellent but desserts rather disappointing. Would recommend fish rather than the steak!

Verified reviewGreat location with quirky but nice rooms. Our rooms had a sea view which is a must as the views to the rear are somewhat bland.
Dirty pool and whirlpool. The hotel is extending so exposed to some building works. No noise from the building contractors but not the best visually.

Verified reviewThe location of this hotel is perfect, overlooking the harbour and sea. There is free parking to the rear. The sheltered terrace on the front is great for a drink and for eating with a lovely view of the harbour. The pool area and jacuzzi area is really pleasent with many chairs/sunbeds. The room (balcony overlooking the sea) was good and equipped with a coffee/tea making facilities. The en-suite shower and seperate toilet were very good. The bed is very large and comfortable. The balcony is pleasent for sitting out on. Breakfast was good with a good choice, but at 18 Euro pp, quite expensive. The evening meal was delicious with quite a good choice on the set menu and a la carte also. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The wifi in our room was very poor. This was depsite the receptionist restarting the router and range extender. This is not a cheap hotel to stay at and I would have thought that this should have been sorted. The bedroom is quite small, something to do with the large bed I guess. Drinks at the bar are expensive in comparison with local restaurants and bars.
