The room itself was on the small side but it was just fine for one night. Breakfast wasn’t as plentiful as expected for the price, and we went down to eat at 8am and the buffet had been depleted by a large group of early risers. I got the impression they were short staffed that day, but doing their best.

Lovely location, waking up to that mountain view was everything. Staff were all super helpful and courteous. We were provided with a bed, bowl and a treat for our dog (pets incur a 20 euro extra fee).

Small room, no aircon, very noisy river outside so windows couldn’t be left open. Breakfast ample but food not stocked quickly enough meaning those late for breakfast had poor choice.

Good location for a base to explore the region. Nils - receptionist very helpful and other staff pleasant.

The room was a bit small but comfortable, with a good view. The ensuite bathroom was compact but had all that was needed. We approved of the economy measures such as the detente on the bath mixer and the two stage dispenser on the hand wash bottle. Good breakfast, gluten-free bread provided. Excellent evening meals, though I think I went through the whole range of the gluten-free dinners. We liked the extra quirky features such as the push button amusement in the hand wash area!

The bedrooms were small and not particularly well equipped, yet the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

A very relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Pristine rooms and facilities. Each and every member of staff was best in class. Both the public bar and restaurant were excellent in standards and price.

Very well located. In the valley, 5 mn walking from the "Valléen" cable car leading to the ski resort and from the train station. Helpful and friendly staff. Restaurant on site.

Plan B is a really exceptional place to stay. Rooms are lovely, the staff are polite/ friendly & professional. The restaurant staff are extremely helpful and the food perfect. We have stayed twice now and intend to come back.

Breakfast was poor and not managed. Coffee was awful and only the machine available , it only gave out 1/4 cups of very bad tasting coffee , no hot water to make alternative ..there were facilities to have filter coffee but this had not been made and sat there empty 1 of the staff checked 3 times but didn’t bother to fill it , scrambled egg was made from egg powder and contained to much water therefore tasted like water. There was no one in charge of of the breakfast .. there was a guy there but not much help .. rooms were basic

Everything was fine except A LOT OF EMAILS! I just counted — I received 18 emails! It was really, really annoying to get them every day. I did the TMB hike and was always worried whether the hotel had cancelled something or if it was just spam!

Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, we decided to eat out due to dirty tables. Eggs seemed powdered. I was optimistic the hotel was going to have a good atmosphere from images advertised unfortunately this was sadly lacking. Staff were cold. I enjoyed the experience more when the hotel was under the previous management.

Stopped in this hotel a few years ago. It’s been renovated and looks good now it’s been refurbished.

Plan B is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a pleasant stay near the slopes. Its proximity to the lift makes it incredibly convenient for skiing enthusiasts, and the surrounding environment is both beautiful and tranquil. The accommodation itself is well-maintained, offering comfort and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Best of all, it provides excellent value for money. Highly recommended for a great getaway!

There was a distinct smell from the drains when we got in the lift, but my main complaint was the pillows in the rooms. We were provided with one very small pillow on the bed and there were no extra pillows in the room. I asked at reception if we could have two more only to be told they had no spare pillows in the hotel! I found this to be totally unacceptable, we travel a lot and I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel where they have been unable to provide something as basic as an extra pillow. This resulted in us having 4 nights of poor sleep, my husband had to sleep with his coat under his small pillow and I had to use a hard cushion under mine. I asked at least 3 times but nothing was done. We definitely will not be staying again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone that likes to sleep with more than one pillow to do so either! Interestingly during our stay we saw a gentleman get in the lift with a pillow under his arm, he’d obviously had the same issue and gone and bought his own! Quite unbelievable really. It totally ruined our stay

In a great position within walking distance to the lifts and station. The hotel has been recently renovated to a reasonable standard. Breakfast was good.
