How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

They didn’t checked the wardrobe and we’ve found someone else clothes in it 😬… so they don’t really check before given the room to the next person but overall really nice.
The location was amazing, very friendly staff.

Rooms and bathroom could be a little cleaner.
The location of this hotel is great. Walkable distance from the center, close to the airport, train, subway, and small shops. Staff members are super kind and helpful. The area is relatively quiet, beds are super comfy.

TV only had a few French channels but didn’t watch anyway
Very good location in central location, 10 minute walk from RER B train which was direct from CDG airport and 15 mins roughly from Jardins de Luxembourg. We were on the 6th floor and the room was very hot but there was a fan on the ceiling which was very good and helped cool us down. Room was small (could just about walk around the bed) but suited fine and was clean with very good shower which had great pressure, was a good base to explore Paris. Also helpful staff there 24/7 and a lift to get up to room. Would look to book again next time I’m in Paris for a holiday

The building was a bit noisy; you could hear water dripping from floors above all the time.
The reception staff was very kind and helpful; the hotel is located in an accessible area, close to public transportation and Paris hot spots.

I would be cautious about staying in summer when it’s really hot as there was no air conditioning. This wasn’t a problem while we were there in spring.
Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Location was super and overall great value for money.

I don't know what could be done about the design of the shower, for someone with mobility issues it would be terrible. It is usable, but not a pleasant experience. You climb up a step to get in to a phone booth-sized shower and you have to be quite careful coming out.
Functional small room for a solo traveler. Clean and quiet. Really just to sleep in. The bathroom was adequate, but you had to step up 2 feet to the raised shower, which was the size of a phone booth, if you remember what that was like!

No tea and coffee making facilities, however staff willingly filled a flask with hot water for us on request.
Room was small but big enough for the two of us. Clean and tidy and cleaned every day. Breakfast was very good and served our needs.

We heard our neighbors getting ready and loudly talking early in the morning, but not the street or anything really otherwise. Oh, and there was no soap/no shower gel. No soap for hands was a little funny, but everything else was great!
Very kind receptionist, room was compact yet not tiny. All was very clean and well kept, the bed was comfortable, the shower perfectly fine.

The floor was not cleaned before we came to the hotel room. And our whole stay. They were changing towels and throwing away garbage, but thats it. And check in is late at 15. They had plenty of time.. 2 times i found hair in my towel. But we saw other reviews so we knew what to expect
Location. For few days stay and when you are not in the room, it is good.
