We liked everything! We think it is a perfect place to stay in a very special area of historic and gastronomic importance. As always, a swimming pool or little pool to sit would be welcome - but this is a luxury - and the wonderful showers upstairs help you to be cool and feel great. On entering the property through the metal gateway, be aware if your vehicle is low, that you do not ground it on the right hand side (gate resting side). If you have an SUV, you will be ok.

Les Pimprenelles is located in an amazing, quiet location adjacent to the ramparts and very easy stroll across the little private road to walk into the cite. We could easily park our car within the Les Pimprenelles property, and was fully secure. Paul kindly sent us a video of how to get into the premises, safely. The accomodation is great, each room has gone through modernisation, attractive, comfortable. The views at the back of the property are beautiful, with choice of patio/ balcony on ground and first floor, definitely a sun trap. And air con, works very well. Bed comfortable. Kitchen is set up for self catering with essential facilities, although it is easy to stroll across the way into the cite where there are many great restaurants and bars. Very convenient for seeing everything and feeling the vibe of the history and culture of previous times - and modern times.

Superb location, just metres away from one of the entrances. Gated parking. To the rear there is a terrace and balcony with views over the valley. The interior is modern and comfortable. The two bedrooms are en suite.

Lack of basic items, such as hand soap, a couple of dishwasher tablets perhaps, a tea towel would be useful, better shower toiletries etc. all these things would have been welcome touches. Couldn’t find a sharp cooking knife, and a lack of cooking utensils.

Superb location just across from the Cité. Spacious rooms and the two terraces were excellent to use. Modern styling, well designed bathrooms. Very safe and secure with the gate leading to parking. Lovely and clean.

The gate did not work to drive in or out , the zapper is old and broken . Took 20 minutes to get it open and the road is narrow so had to keep moving the car out of the way of traffic , very frustrating , they should provide a working Zapper .

Excellent - Perfect - Faultless. For a family of 4 visiting Carcassonne, this is Best accommodation you could arrange. Excellent communication from Paul, the owner. We have recommended to friends and family. Location is great, literally a stones throw from the Cite. We sat on the veranda in the evening singing along to Sting performing Live at the festival.

The road outside was a little narrow a couple of drivers were getting impatient when we exited the villa and closed the electronic gates. It's not the owner's fault just the usual can't wait syndrome. If you have a long car reverse into the driveway it's easier.

First, it was meeting Paul the owner who couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and courteous. He was busy with other commitments but took his time explaining everything and did not leave until he was sure we were happy with the villa. The villa was spotless, and spacious and had everything you needed for your stay. The bedrooms were of a good size with en-suite facilities. I'm happy to return in the future. The location was excellent a stone's throw from the Castle in Carcassonne We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer.

A beautiful house I could see myself living in that was spotless. Every room, the bathrooms and the decks were wonderful. I even had a chance to do a quick load of washing. After seeing all the tourists in the city, I was pleased that we chose to stay just outside the walls, a 2 min walk away.

not that I didnt like, just be attentive, the parking entrance is very stiff, so if your car is low as mince just be careful when entering or exiting,

it is an amazing place with great location, u basically live under the castle, enough to cross the road and u r in the old town. Villa is huge, modern, with several terasses, with a night view on a castle, we really enjoyed it, highly recommended

I had a great stay and would definitely book this place again. However, I do have a minor complaint. It would be nice if there was a higher quality toilet paper provided and more than one roll per bathroom. Also, the shampoo and soap could be improved to a higher standard which would make a big difference for guests. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable house perfectly situated to explore the old cité. The air conditioning was perfect for our short stay. Nice terrace upstairs to sit out on during the evenings.

Slanting slope on driving entrance and tight turning angle for big car. Not automatic shutter for the windows and door.

Private parking space. Just beside cite de carcassonne. Excellent view. Air conditioned. Large rooms and areas. Individual toilet and bathroom. Self check in and out.

This villa is beautiful. the location and the views from the terraces cannot be beat. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are all new and fresh.

The only opportunity we can mention is better bathroom amenities, such as soap, and the basics. This was not a big deal, it is the only opportunity for improvement we saw.

The villa has a great space. The location is amazing with great views. You don’t see many reviews as we were the first guests. I strongly recommend this property.
