We loved almost everything. Maybe a bit of a smell due to the age of the building.

The apartment has a superb location, only a few steps from the Vieux Port, museums, boat trips, and bus and metro are also close by. We have also found the area safe enough to walk around in the evening.

Amazing host Michelle, excellent location just a few meters from the historic center, close to the restaurant, port, metro, bus, in a quiet street next to the hotel Intercontinental with a view of the church tower. Stylish apartment with the all facilities - dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, hairdryer...

Location. Location. Despite its central location it had an incredible air of quiet. The host Michelle was there to greet us and gave us a short briefing on the historical context of the building, the port and the chat. Places to eat, what’s on and everything you need to know in between. Perfect beginning.

Only potential downside might be for those with limited mobility because the street requires navigating some steps, as the apartment is located in the hilly Le Panier neighborhood. But the owner worked hard to communicate clearly how to best access the apartment, and the steps ultimately weren't a problem. And the steps are what make Le Panier a unique and special district -- and add to the charm of the apartment.

Fantastic, comfortable, spacious apartment very well-located to the Port Vieux, Le Panier, public transportation -- everything there us to see and do in Marseille. The owner is wonderful, and the apartment is quiet and has a nice kitchen, living room, and bathroom -- including a washing machine to do laundry. I highly recommend, and would absolutely stay here again and again if I come back to Marseille.

Great apartment with a great location in the middle of the old town and very close to the marina. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for longer stays, such as a washing machine snd very good Wifi. Michele is an extremely friendly and helpful host. We had a great stay.

Could have done with more towels for 3 night stay, pillows a bit uncomfortable . Still a bit expensive given there is no service and not a hotel

It was a particularly nice flat, cosy and attractive, in a lovely location in the old part of Marseille, very convenient for the port, the seafront, and the museums. The landlady was very nice and helpful. It was a very comfortable, enjoyable stay.

The property is on a very central location where y you can easily walk to the of port and the many restaurants.It is also close to the train line . It is in a quite location .The property is very comfortable and the kitchen has all modern conveniences.

Not a criticism, but mentioning to future travellers that the property is on a pedestrian street not directly accessible by vehicle; suitable for people like us who are happy to carry luggage 200m or so up a stepped street.

A very attractive, thoughtfully furnished and well-equipped property, in the attractive old Le Panier quarter, perfect for a visit of a few days to Marseille. The property is convenient for the old port and downtown areas, and supermarkets and a boulangerie are within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment is a little bigger than it looks in the photos, and is equipped with plenty of fans and a small ac unit to manage the summer heat.

We loved the appointments in this flat. Michele, the owner certainly has a flair for interior design . The juxtaposition of old and new sits so well together . I coveted many of her antique finds .Although in the centre of Marseilles it was so quiet at night we slept really well .Michele was very helpful and accommodating |Would highly recommend this apartment .
