I would not call this a 4 star hotel although they had a swimming pool. Our room had a jug for water which wasn't clean, no snacks in the room and the hook in the bathroom was broken when arrived which they fixed promptly. Please watch out for the huge deposit they ask when you check in, for 3 nights with 2 children and 2 adults they took 450€ out of our account and it takes days for it to return especially if you haven't got a French bank account. I have stayed in numerous Novetel outside France and never have I been asked for a deposit. So watch out for that!

Hotel is dated, in a need of a facelift. Room was very basic. Bed was too narrow for two people and the mattress had a plastic cover which made the bed very uncomfortable to sleep in. Way over priced for the condition and comfort of the hotel and room.

Lack of honesty. Lack of information. I was charged €600.00 which they said will be refunded at the end of stay. At the end of stay this morning, they said they charged €78 for taxes which were unexplained. However, my partner paid €78 and Novortel are supposed to refund back €600. Since this morning, I have waited. It was easy to take my money, now I have to fight for refund. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable. I have arrived in Liverpool now n no money to pay my bills. Is this the right and fair treatment of customers? This is a highest level of deceit and robbing people. We have just called the Novetel Hotel and been told that the money will be refunded in 24 hours, now I have to beg for my hard earned money, they took it off my account straight away. Wow! I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The system is insane and no translation for none French speakers to understand. This is discrimination and I am gutted.

So we arive, 1 big towel for 4 of us. Dinner pizza roomservice wait 1 hour instead of 20 min! Breakfast no more egg and no bacon!!’n what kind of hotel is this! Terrible. Never have i ever had this! It includes breakfast what is breakfast with no eggs an bacon!!

Not well kept : both elevators broken, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with luggage in a staircase that was unbelievably dirty…. My bedroom smelled of cold cigarette. My shower was clogged and overflew. Kind but uneffective staff despite client reporting problems.

The bedroom was just basic, no iron for clothes, the toilet was not working properly. The swimming pool was into renovation but they didn't mention it to me when I booked.
