A lot of wasps around the pool area. Son was stung twice. A lot of ants around breakfast foods, and no covers over food.

Issue with twin room. Booked online then had an email to say I had to pay for an upgrade for a twin. Eventually because of the lack of response from the hotel they did agreed to not charge. Then when at the property I had to explain on two separate occasions what had been agreed online. Lack of communication being the biggest issue.

Great location close to a lovely town. Views from the rooms were excellent.

Nothing wrong with it. It’s a beautiful little hideaway in the side of the mountain with incredible views when I was trying to figure out where to park my motorcycle when I first arrived, I must’ve been on closed circuit TV because the concierge on duty then came up and walked purposely to me to show me where I could put my motorcycle undercover.

It is built into a hill with magnificent is and it is landscape gorgeously and flowers were blooming everywhere. Plus, it has a nice pool where you could actually swim laps and sit out on the deck under umbrella. There was a young man at the desk named Phuc. My SIM from Orange Telecom which is notoriously difficult to do business with, ran out of data and they notified me at 5 o’clock in the morning and the process to we charge. The SIM doesn’t work ever and I couldn’t get it to work and there was a young man at the front desk who tried to help me make it work and he couldn’t even make it work and finally use his phone to get it to work and then it wouldn’t accept my credit card that it had accepted before said that my credit card was from the wrong country and this whole thing took an hour. Whatever I have trouble in France with my French SIM I just drive to an Orange boutique but the nearest one with an hour away. The company is impossible to do this way. But this guy behind the desk he finally recharge my phone with his own credit card. I could not believe the kindness of the man. His name is Phuc. He was born in France from parents who left Vietnam after the war. I drive through Europe on a motorcycle every year, and I depend upon the kindness of strangers, and this young man was the most helpful person I’ve ever run into.

The room had strange smell that wouldn’t go away, in general the hotel is a bit outdated

Hotel in need of a coat of paint in places just to smarten things up like guard rails on balconies etc Very steep driveway from the car park to reception ( there is a lift but we nearly got stuck in it on a previous visit)

The rest of the hotel is in desperate need of an update. Wherever you look, the structure is crumbling. With a bit of TLC this could be turned into a great place to stay.

Our room (superior) was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and balcony offering superb views.

Parking was close but a long steep walk to reception. No restaurant on the premises so had to go back into town which was a 10-15 minute walk. Town had incredible shops and eateries.

The view from every room is exceptional. Very quiet, close to walking into town. The town is small and charming with lots of fun places to eat or grab a picnic.

Reception smelt of cat food, which had been left on the seats. Bar poorly stocked, so were unable to utilise the terrace for a drink to enjoy the views. Shower configuration needs to be reviewed as causes issues to co tain water within shower. No duvet on the bed, only a sheet, thankfully there was a blanket in the cupboard. Disappointing breakfast especially compared to the images on booking.com (e.g. burnt crossiants, fruit passed its best)

Breakfast quite basic, but the croissants and bread were delicious.

Beautiful location, Sartene is an amazing base, but beware of the roads if you are used to major roads elsewhere, these are not they! At the hotel, room was exceptionally clean, spacious with a balcony and views to die for. The pool is quiet and relaxing, can't ask for a lot more.

Nothing really. The room was quite large and clean and the staff were helpful. Good breakfast and a wonderful terrace to enjoy the easy morning sunshine.

It is pity that there is no restaurant open all the time. I think this place makes a wonderful restaurant.

We liked so much as the staff was so helpful we have decided to make this place for a base to make one week holiday in corsica.
