It's all about the staff. They are all just so friendly and without exception. Second, you park right under the hotel, public parking, but the hotel has a convenience with the garage, so you get a very good price. Lastly, rooms are not fit in the latest fashion, but they are spacious and offer all the comfort you seek, when you wish to retire and sleep.

The building is hundreds of years old but the interior has a modern twist. Loved our room #19 as it was large, decorated had a funky vibe and bathroom was nice. There’s no elevator but front desk hauled our bag up. Their restaurant is outside and was delicious.

The fact the room smelt like "smelly feet". I could air it because of the heat. The spray they used smelt too much…I really couldn't solve this issue. I recommend they air the room before the next guest

Great location spot in the centre of the city. You can visit everything on foot and also enjoy shopping and excellent restaurants. The staff is very welcoming!

Breakfast was a little on the expensive side at €13pp so decided against having it.

The room was very large with a seating area and large bathroom, coffee machine, good lighting and excellent AC. Location was excellent in the city and was very cheap considering. Restaurant is outside the entrance. Staff spoke good English and were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dancing in the Place at weekends added atmosphere, but noisy. Room cleaning everyday, whether wanted or not. Non-superior rooms looked small & claustrophobic.

Fantastic location on Place d'Assas, great for atmospheric aperitifs and a lazy al fresco breakfast. Well placed for the Jardins de la Fontaine, the roman monuments, the old town, the art galleries and a multitude of bars and restaurants (Restaurant Carre d'Art and neighbourhood Italian L'Officine are stand outs within a short stroll). 15 minute walk from the station.

The hotel was incredibly convenient for sight seeing. Everything walkable. Also the availability of car parking was a big plus. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced. There was a nice buzz. The breakfast was all plated up and was very large, I felt bad at leaving some of it.

The floors of the room, corridors and stairway are all somehow tilted or curved, giving you the feeling you are drunk when walking around. Neighbours walking by make the room shake as if an earthquake is happening.

Truth be told, this is an old hotel which was recently renovated. Our room was tiny and stuffy because the window (facing the wall of another building) couldn't be opened so we had to rely on the air conditioner. The bed cover seemed to have some stains on it.

The position of the hotel couldn't be better - 10 minute easy walk from all important attractions and 5 minute walk from the central park. The breakfast was served on the terrace in front of the hotel, right on the picturesque plaza surrounded by trees. The staff members were really kind and helpful, the room was spotless and the bathroom above expectations.

The location was ideal and the larger room is Definitely worth the difference, we have stayed here before but always in the standard room. This room had a desk and two very comfortable chairs to watch the large tv with Netflix and Prime. Plus a large couch.
