The lift was tiny

The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. They gave us lots of guidance , provided free cold drinks., coffee and cake. The lounge area had lots of interesting books about the area.

The room was great! The perfect size for us. The location was good, parking was a bit tricky, but that was to be expected in a city. The breakfast was amazing! The staff were so warm and welcoming, we loved it. It was also centrally located so we could walk around the city and leave the car behind us. It was wonderful.

The shower in our room could have used a curtain to keep water from wetting the bathroom floor. And a few more hooks and shelves for toiletries, and to hang damp towels.

The breakfast was wonderfully delicious and varied. We appreciated the homemade snacks, fruits, and coffee machine available all day. The desk staff were charming, personable, and very helpful. They made us feel completely at home.

The breakfast offerings and the shower size as well as no USB points.

Basic but bright, white and clean bedroom, good hairdryer. (USB points would have been good). My room had tall traditional windows and overlooked the street - there was a bit of noise from the bar opposite and, as often happens in Europe, an absolute din from the street sweepers and workmen but this is hardly the hotel’s fault but be mindful if you need a lot of sleep. My modern bathroom had been shoe-horned in along part of one wall and you had to side step along a 40cm narrow space into a barely 50cm square minuscule area where the shower head was. So small I had to step out to the basin to move my arms to wash myself or bend over. The staff is lovely and there is a really nice touch of free water and snacks throughout the day. On one morning the person on the desk had front desk and breakfast to do at the same time and many things ran out. I was surprised there wasn’t even any local bread on offer or hot food. The jams, like most places, were cheaper wholesale type and didn’t have any flavour. The croissants & pain au chocolat were good. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming hotel I would use again (but specify a room with a normal sized shower). Walkable into centre and all access to transport. Welcoming lounge area downstairs.

The wet room is just a death trap and without putting towels down to soak up some water there’s no way to safely get to the toilet. Skirting boards in the bedroom all need a good clean.

Unfortunately, my room was too small to use the yoga mat I had picked up downstairs. However, I really appreciate that the hotel provides these mats for guests.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station and city center. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was quiet with a comfortable bed.

Limited on street parking but a decent parking garage just round the corner.

For the price, this is a very good little hotel. The location is good, just near the city centre. Complimentary afternoon tea is provided. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good with a range of high quality products.
