Having to leave! (Seriously)

BWPH Roosevelt is very central to the sea front/promenade, the train station, fab shops and a vast array of restaurants. The hotel receptionist checked us in very efficiently and courteously. Our room on the 3rd floor was comfortable, and quiet, with some treats left in the fridge, and a large bottle of water replaced every day. (This was really appreciated). Free WiFi also available throughout the hotel. As we were staying on a "room only" basis, I can't make any comment on the breakfast served. A small gift of lavender was given to each of us on check out, a lovely reminder of our first visit to Nice, and this lovely hotel.

The overall quality of the facilities felt more like a 3-star level rather than a 4-star. There was an unpleasant odor from the bathroom shower drain, and since there was no fan, it became quite hot and humid. Also, the bed linens and towels were clean but noticeably old and worn from use.

We stayed here for five nights. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and we appreciated that they upgraded our room. The elevator was very small, but we mostly used the stairs, so it wasn’t much of an issue.

Two concerns have arisen during my experience: the absence of private parking and the occasional presence of an unpleasant odor, potentially stemming from the air conditioning system's dampness.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Daniela, a member of the reception staff. Her exceptional kindness, attentiveness, cheerful demeanor, and helpfulness were truly remarkable. Her positive impact was such that her presence would be a significant factor in my decision to return. The overall hotel experience was satisfactory.

On our last day there was no hot water. But the staff handled it professionally, the refund came in 2 days

The hotel was really nice, clean, and just a few minutes from the Promenade and Gallery. The staff was very nice which is rare for Nice;)

Previous times we had no problem with any noise, but this time we had to make a complaint (we've learned that the building is quite old). While we're on the subject all of a sudden the fire alarm got tested. We got no notice before and no explanation after. A guest told me. Another thing, you might have to wait a while for the elevator. Lastly we didn't get bathrobes and slippers, but maybe that's not included in this type of room?

The location and the interior design is what keeps us coming back. Overall the staff is very helpful and professional.

Not a big issue but there is just one lift and it is very small. There was a bad smell from the shower.

The location is amazing! It’s located beside some gorgeous shops, close to the main shopping street, tourist spots and promenade. The staff were so lovely and friendly and made check in easy. They even gave us an upgrade.

Lift was tight with two persons and travel cases. As Boutique Hotel we would liked to have the option for use of room on day of departure. (Exit is by 11.00am) Music in bar area - electronic music was monotonous and detracted from the otherwise good aesthetics.

Overall ambience / atmosphere and central location in a nice vicinity.The design of the interiors and art deco feel.
