Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe building from the outside is a little stark but once inside the gate the garden and pool are both perfect.
The breakfast by the side of the pool was excellent. The owner was very friendly and booked a fantastic restaurant for us to have dinner in. The restaurant was only 20 minutes walk away and was right opposite the monastery. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We visited the monastery before we left the city - it is well worth a visit.

GermanyEverything was perfect, and the perfect start to a 2500km journey over 6 days. The Riad is so nicely presented and the host so friendly, I can only too easily recommend this for a one night stopover or a 2-3 day stay to get to know the area. The bedroom was large enough and opened out on the pool where we also took breakfast. The garden laid out with thought in a mock eastern touch. THe only minor aspect was; although a water kettle was there for tea/coffee, the ingredients were missing. Considering we had parking in the courtyard, breakfast and room, the price was certainly OK as France is a bit more expensive. Thank you for a hearty welcome.

United KingdomSomeone nearby has a cockerel that’s active before dawn, and there were two singing drunks that could be heard faintly on the breeze late into the night…
The general layout is a lovely surprise after the street facade and entrance. There are a few bedroom units scattered around a central pool. The owner lives on site and will greet you warm heartedly upon arrival, and serve breakfast at your convenience.

We had a very pleasant night in this garden cabin. The space is very well equipped and spotless. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast generous. We had heavy rain all afternoon and couldn’t enjoy the outdoor which is beautiful. The owner Mme Julien was really nice and helpful.

United KingdomThe only thing that was slightly annoying, was the saloon bar doors to the bathroom. They were quite hard to push open but noisy to use in the night.
The hostess was lovely. Her English was not brilliant and nor was our French, but we managed to communicate! The car parking was secure, the room, which was in the garden, was delightful, very clean, had welcome chocolates and water. There was a mini bar fridge and bottles of wine available to buy. The swimming pool was clean and warm. The hostess recommended some restaurants nearby. A fresh and tasty breakfast was set at a table next to the pool, at a time that we had asked for. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful room in a lovely setting. Private garage. Madame Julien is a perfect host ; lovely breakfast which we had outside by the pool. Madame Julien recommended a brasserie in town where we had a very enjoyable meal. She also recommended a visit to the Brou Monastery: a real gem - amazing place set in beautiful grounds , great art collections. Thank you Madame Julien!

We received a very warm welcome from the owner. We had secure, off street parking. The accommodation is in lovely surroundings and has been finished very tastefully to a high standard and was very comfortable. We had use of the garden but due to the weather didn't use the pool. The bed was very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and the breakfast was superb. The owner was very helpful with recommendations regarding restaurants and visiting the town. We had a wonderful welcome to this hidden gem of a place and it was great to have safe parking. The room was extremely well equipped and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the garden, complete with amazing pool is extraordinary. For anyone who knows of the Chelsea Flower Show staying here was like spending the night in a gold medal show garden!!! B-en-B is well worth visiting for the Monastary of Brou, and we spent a great evening enjoying the food and atmosphere of the Beau Marché food Hall in the centre of town, an easy walk from Riad des Baudièrs.
