Noise from motor bikes. On arrival l went to reception and asked, in French, if the receptionist spoke English. She said ‘Do you speak French, do you speak Spanish do you speak German? No l don’t but l don’t work on a hotel reception so l don’t think it was unreasonable to ask. After that l was very reluctant to go to reception for anything.

Location was great. Near buses so easy to travel around and close to the beach.

At night it could be quite noisy with people coming home from the clubs but mainly at weekends. Would also suggest that you book a sea view rather than a city view.

Great view (we were on the 10th floor), right on the coast, unbelievable views and a very short stroll to restaurants and facilities. The kitchenette is very well equipped with practically everything you'd need and bathroom spotless and big enough. Lots of storage to unpack and balcony a great bonus.

The wifi was poor - sometimes it didn’t work at all . I didn’t have data so I was relying on it .

Loved the location and having our own little place . Kitchen was great, all the staff uff we needed to mak meals . Staff were very helpful- gave us a toaster and hairdryer .

Check-in was tricky, as there isn't an assigned drop-off area, and carpark entry (on the beach side of the building, next to, but not into the Parking Indigo Biarritz Grande Plage) is only available after check-in. More information regarding this would be appreciated before arriving.

The apartment is very central and close to the beach, so most is walkable. We were on the 7th floor, so also very quiet, and of course lift access. Basement parking is also a bonus (for a fee) as it can be a very busy area. The staff were very friendly and communicated clearly.

There's no emergency contact information. So you can't contact them on Sunday. And we didn't know where to leave the key as we were leaving early Monday morning before reception opened. Tried emailing ,calling with no luck. It would be good to have some information on where to leave the keys on checkout if reception isn't available.

Noise from lift. Building is in need of a good clean , tidy and refurbishment. Everything works it just looks a bit tired. 3 star hotel standard

The location is brilliant. Room size is great. We hadd a sea view suite with balcony. Centre of grande plage near shops and restaurants. 5 star location. Very good value. Anything else this size and location costs 2 or 3 times more.

Could have done with more power sockets - especially at the kitchen. There were only two so it meant I had to keep swapping out plugs. The shower was good but a bit unclear on how to get the water coming from overhead. All minor quibbles.

The view was outstanding. Great view of the Grande Plage - waking up to the sound of waves crashing on to the beach was lovely. Bed, TV and shower were all good and the place was clean. Staff were patient with my rudimentary French and very helpful.

Room was hot over night and if window opened it got noisy with cars and revellers. Would probably go for sea view next time.

Location was excellent. Had access to the beach front from the back of the property. Had a drying rack which we utilized. Little kitchenette meant we could purchase some foods and cook on site.

The room stank of cigarettes and the corridor smelt bad too. The light switch didn’t work entering the room. The room did not resemble the photographs online at all. Went to complain but as I had checked in on Saturday night there were no staff there on Sunday at all. I checked out early and spent two nights on the floor in a family member’s apartment rather than staying here

Dear Hotel : In France in June , The weather is always hot than UK, Offer a fan is very important for hot night. There is no air condition , but at least has one little fan . My son and I were cooked in the most hot day in Biarritz .
