United KingdomCentral office of odalys Vacances were extremely unhelpful when I had an issue which was a policy issue with Odalys and not the Fermes Du Chatel. had the phone cut off on me as I did not speak french. Second phone call (with french speaker) did not resolve the issue. Complaints need to be in writing. Only one lift in our block so at times had to wait a while
Next to Super Châtel Ski Lift which is perfect Reception staff are really fantastic. Very helpful, pre holiday e mails were answered very quickly , they arranged all the ski lift passes and hire equipment pre holiday. Cannot rate them highly enough. Underground parking was great to leave the car. Whole building was very clean Room had a fantastic view. Some reviews mention noise from the town however we did not find this to be an issue

The location near the Super Châtel lift and the shops. The apartment was spacious, quiet, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the mountain. There was a good sized indoor swimming pool.

United KingdomAccess, we stayed on floor 2 in block C and you could just walk out of the door and across the road to the gondola, I don’t think it could have been easier.
The location is the best in Châtel, you just walk across the road to the gondola. Large enough apartments with spacious balconies, best pool and hot tub in Chatel. The staff on reception were superb. The only gripe was the lift in block C only went to the -1 and not -2 car park.

NetherlandsThe matrasses and bed blankets aren’t great. I would describe them as cheap ikea style. Not bad. Very light/cold blankets. And we’ve really missed an oven. Maybe one tip to help keep every apt tidier: just leave (dishwasher) soap, cleaning cloths, general kitchen/bathroom detergent etc in every apartments. Just include 3 euros pp more in the price and give everyone as much soap etc as needed.

United KingdomWe had to clean our own rooms, had to pay to use amenities such as steam room and the hotel is an absolute maze to get from one are to another. It’s so confusing I think I actually spent about an hour over the week I was there just walking around trying to get out. We also had one group of our friends with an amazing valley view, whilst my room had a car park view with no sun. Just luck of the draw I guess!
So convenient for the lift up to the slopes.

“Les Fermes de Chatel” is in a fantastic location next to the main ski lift and in the middle of the village. There is also convenient underground parking for the accommodation.

United KingdomHad to pay extra for enough towels, with 4 people staying, you would expect 4 towels. Television had no wifi connection, so not good for kids . Sauna 9 Euros a day per person. that was poor.
Good location and clean functional rooms , modern style warm rooms . Plenty of room to park and your in the heart of the town. generally very happy with the stay. Pool area clean & modern.

United KingdomMy only criticism is that the heaters were awkward to work and sometimes wouldn’t come on so the rooms were at times a little cool. Also when we arrived the lift was out of order and remained that way for the duration of the week stay, whilst I appreciate it was over the Christmas period I’d have expected it to have been fixed within a week.

FranceOn the last day the jacuzzi did not work, also they state a sign not to allow children in the jacuzzi but this is not checked and a lot of small children were in there. Also the lifts on arrivals is overloaded and it could take you 1 hour before you are able to get from the parking into your apartment
The apartment has everything you need - including ski lockers - the location is superb in the middle of the resort with parking just below the apartments. The swimming pool is great to use as well as the jacuzzi.

Netherlands- checkin was a mess. room was not ready till 18 hours and very chaotic at the reception desk - floors in the apartment are super cold - pool is too cold and also jacuzzi could be a bit warmer - an oven instead of a microwave (or combi) would have been practical - we were lucky to have an apartment on the side of the building with a bit of view but chances are you are facing the backstreet (telecabine side) which can give noise and views on a grey wall and small street - overall the complex seems a bit run down, decoration is a bit poor, no drinks in the bar, fire in the fireplace etc. Its a shame because with a few small changes it could be much nicer...
