Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNot a great set of facilities (other than the spa) - no bar etc. Breakfast arrangements were very confusing. At first we were told we would get a tray with continental breakfast delivered to our rooms (not great) - later this was relented to a normal serve yourself breakfast room - mediocre.
Very nice to be able to relax in the sauna and jacuzzi after a hard day's cycling.

We had an excellent one night at Le Grand Tetras. The room was comfortable and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the spa, pool and wellness centre all included in the price. Excellent breakfast brought to our room and the staff we met all very friendly. A great position for exploring the town. Thoroughly recommend

United KingdomWe were there for 3 days, the property wifi was not working, we checked at reception But no indication why and when it would be working. It wouldn’t be an issue for me usually, but the 3g signal on my phone was also poor.
Location, spa.

FranceAsked for two singles on booking but got a double (changed room). Had to go back to reception two times because of issues with towels. Dirt under the beds. Bathrobes and mandatory flip flops not supplied.
Nice room with kitchen. Spa okay. Great location with views over the central square and near ski lift.

AustraliaThe spa experience was odd: more clinical than calming. The space felt sanitised, like a hospital, and people were in rooms receiving medical treatments. It had an almost dystopian feel.
Central location, nearby many restaurants.

United KingdomRobes and flip flop provision or larger towels would have been nice however the hotel and spa offers fantastic value for money. The spa area is very clinical with its white walls (and spotlessly clean) perhaps it could benefit from a more relaxing aesthetic vibe / music etc - but i appreciate its down yo personal taste
It was quite a long drive for us from Beziers to Ax Les Thermes but it was beautiful scenery and the spa at the hotel made it worth the trip. The hotel was spotlessly clean and there were microwave and cooking facilities in the room. Catherine was exceptionally helpful on check in giving us advice to help our stay and enjoy the surrounding area. Of her 3 restaurants recommendations we chose Le Zebra and was not disappointed-the meal and staff were outstanding. The spa facilities were super clean and had everything you needed to relax ie gym, jacuzzi, steamroom and sauna. There were other treatments available at an additional cost but we did not use them. Safe and free parking was available across the road behind the casino.late checkout at 12 meant we could use the spa in the morning too. Breakfast at 12 euros per person delivered to your room was reasonable but we opted to have breakfast in the little bistro /coffee shop next foor which was very good. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area . Formidable.

United KingdomNothing.
We were welcomed and allowed in to our room for an early check in, which was great. We had messaged ahead and asked if we could leave our bags. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful, and phoned across to the Thermal baths to check availability for treatments for us. She recommended some restaurants for the evening, and gave us directions for a shop for milk etc. She also told us about breakfast in the room for the next morning, which felt like a real treat. It was lovely being able to use the swimming pool and spa with views out onto the the mountains, and free use of fresh towels and robes.

BrazilThe staff were AMAZING, receptionists and specially the staff at the SPA. The SPA was simply the best part because it is very easy to go there and enjoy the saunas, pool and Jacuzzis and then just go down directly to your room. The room and all the facilities were very clean, everything was comfortable. And it is very well located, at the heart of the little city. So yes, I highly recommend it.
