Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandOnly issue was one toilet for an 8 person apartment could be problematic - for our party it was managable.

United KingdomThe lifts! 1 of 4 was broken. Only 2 go down to ski room. There is a lot of waiting! And we weren’t there in school holidays / busy period. We were on level 3 and ski room is -2 so whilst we could have taken the stairs I didn’t fancy doing five flights. You have to clean the kitchen, strip the beds and take all your rubbish out when you leave to avoid a fine. Not a big deal but just fyi. Felt a bit of an ask after paying thousands of pounds but never mind. Limited supplies. You’re given 3 dishwasher tablets, a tiny sachet of cleaner, one tea towel and one loo roll for a week. There were five of us so inevitably we had to buy more. Again, not a big deal but a bit stingy given what we paid. Our balcony - we had a room on the side and didn’t get any sun all day. We were home some afternoons with the little one so that would have been nice. Not a problem if you’ll be on the slopes all day, but request a sunny balcony if you’d like one. You have to pay for the sauna after 4pm - that wasn’t clear to us on booking. It’s only free before 4 and for 45mins per adult per day. The washing machine and driers are extortionate - just fyi. We were there 3 weeks so had to use them. The hotel is in 1800. We booked ski school to go from here but in the end they couldn’t because not enough kids so ski school put on a taxi to take them up to Le Lac. Not really the hotel’s fault but just keep in mind you’re not in the main resort in Le Lac at 2100m, the snow late season near the hotel therefore isn’t reliable and whilst there is a free shuttle bus it doesn’t run all evening. Just andded another layer of logistical faff for the kids on a morning. 1800 as a village / area is dead - there is literally nothing on / happening. Again, we liked being somewhere peaceful but it was almost a bit gloomy given how dead the place was. I think Le Lac has more going on…
Super clean, spacious and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook decent meals. Super comfy sofa bed. Brilliant ski boot room, access to slope, swimming pool. Local Spar shop fantastic.

IsraelThere was only one toilet in the two bedroom family apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people. One of the hotel elevators was out of order. Nobody worked on fixing it during all our 8 days long stay. As a result only one elevator served the ski room. It is a long way from our apartment to this elevator, and we waited long time for the elevator every day. A day before checkout our keys were deactivated. It was very inconvenient to come back after skiing without being able to enter the locker and needed to go upstairs in the ski boots to the reception. The staff at the reception admitted that it was done by a mistake but nobody apologized which seems at least strange. The price of the hotel was much higher that what we are used to based on our vast experience of skiing in France.
There is ski-in and out from the hotel. The lockers are very convenient. The apartment was spacious and everything in it looks new and well maintained. Two bathrooms. On our request a guy came to the apartment and gave us a detailed and clear demonstration on the use of the kitchen appliances. The staff in the hotel restaurant was very friendly and helpful. We had a dinner there several times and took prepared food from there to the apartment.

IsraelHowever, there’s one thing I just can’t understand. The room had two wonderful bathrooms but only one toilet. That was okay for us, since there were four, but our friends had eight people and still just one toilet.! What? That’s surreal. I’d love to meet the architect who designed the place and ask him a few questions - like what he was drinking when he planned this. On top of that, the single toilet had no sink, meaning people walk out with dirty hands, and go wash them in the showers. It’s just crazy. :-)
We spent a week at this hotel and can clearly note its pros and cons. On the plus side, we got a room with a wonderful mountain view, though there were also rooms facing the parking lot. Everything in our room worked great - dryers are important in a ski hotel, and they worked very well. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, though at first we didn’t realize the oven was combined with a microwave. The rooms are clean and cozy. It’s very convenient that there’s a ski rental right at the hotel, and ski-in/ski-out is also extremely handy. The only downside is that beginners might struggle to ski back to the hotel, since from 2100 down to 1800 there are only red slopes, which become difficult if they’re icy. Still, that’s not a big problem, as you can take the gondola back. Being at 1800 isn’t ideal, but it’s quiet, while most of the action is up at 2100.

RomaniaBasic supplies like soap, toilet paper and kitchen cleaning products were not enough, just a ridiculous "welcome pack" received from the reception when you pay a 400 EUR deposit although they have your credit card.

Great value for the money. Clean and modern apartments, with a ski shop/rental in the building, and lots of value add features at affordable price (breakfast for 13 euros per person, spa for 17 euros per person, indoor pool is included)

NetherlandsCleanliness was a major issue during our stay. There was dust under the beds, some dishes were stained or dirty, and the toilet was not thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, the in-house facilities, such as pans, were of low quality and could easily be improved with a small investment. It was surprising that the hotel does not provide basic essentials like toilet paper or soap. They provide a box with dishwasher tablet and liquid but no soap. Again a small investment for a nice improvement. At the end of the stay, guests are required to strip the bed sheets, take out the trash, and are even threatened with a fine if these tasks are not completed. Essentially, the hotel expects guests to handle much of the cleaning, and it seems they do little beyond that, which contributes to the cleanliness issues mentioned earlier.
Outside facilities such as lockers and dressing room are quite nice. Rental store at the hotel does an excellent job. View of the rooms were beautiful, and the location was very convenient. Spa is practical, does the job with a nice ambiance. A modest restaurant with nice burger and pizza options (we didn’t try the rest of the menu so I can’t comment on that)
