Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom was small and bathroom very small
Great value for money with friendly staff. Easy to access, but away from the main road through the village.

NetherlandsVillage is very quiet at night, with very limited dining or nightlife. In fact, La Tarine was probably the only dining/nightlife option avaible to most. With one exception, most other restaurants require taxi ride.
Owners were very helpful, and always on hand. They really helped us with ski passes and other information. We failed to prebook diner, but the hotel was very acommodating finding a table for us in the restaurant. Clean and tidy.

United KingdomLovely hosts, fantastic breakfast, good food in the restaurant in the evening too. Location very convenient for the shuttle to nordic ski centre, and free cable car up to plan peisey. Will definitely return.

United KingdomIt takes approximately 45 mins from hotel to the ski slopes with a bit of inconvenience with ski equipment etc and the basket lift up and down from Peisey-Nancroix is pretty inefficient unfortunately. This is the only downside to the location
Friendly helpful Patron - Celine. Very accommodating and helpful. The hotel, although small, was clean, warm and welcoming.

AustraliaMore tourism information for non-locals would be great - e.g. the need to book a taxi back to Landry several days before you leave. The dinner menu could also vary a little as it’s one of the only places to eat at Peisey. But these are only minor issues.
It was perfect - great location, very clean and with abundant and generous breakfasts. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced.

United KingdomThe mattress firmness was too much for us. However, it may suit others. Whilst we understand the need to protect the mattress, the use of waterproof mattress protectors can make you sweat because the waterproof barrier built into the protector inhibits the free flow of air, which can mean little to no temperature regulation in the sleeper’s body.
The breakfast options were very good and you could certainly ensure you had enough to feel ready for a good day's ski. The environment where both breakfast and dinners were served were cosy, welcoming and well organised.

IsraelThe room was small, but we knew that when we booked it. It is something to pay attention to while booking.
Céline was kind and responsive before and throughout the stay. She helped us with the Ski Passes, ESF & equipment rental. The staff were nice, food was great in the morning and at dinner (classic french restaurant). The room was clean and the dtaff cleaned it daily. The hotel isn't far from the lift. There are couple of stores near by to buy groceries.

United KingdomVillage is very quiet but we knew that. We didn't need to leave hotel in evening.
Very friendly hotel in Peisey, I would recommend having the half board option as there aren't that many eating options near hotel - food was excellent and can be swapped for other options (including fondue or raclette). Greg's bar is a good post ski bar which attracts locals as well as hotel residents. Hotel will arrange ski passes and give discount for ski hire at local shop. Has some parking behind but free parking is nearby.

United Kingdom1. Despite being close to Bourg Saint Maurice station (20 minute drive) it is not well connected. There is no bus. And taxis will charge you €60 euro one way for 2 people. There seems to be agreement that this is a fair price among the drivers who offer a premium service. 2. It is close to a lift that takes you up to the main resort. However that is the only way to get there. It finishes at 1730. So if you want to get back from resort after that it's. 45 minute walk or a €40 taxi. 3. The hotel has the only restaurant in the village and there is nothing else to do apart from go to the bar next door. So it makes sense to get half board as they do decent food. But it means you are very stuck in the hotel. We didn't realise this and we're told on arrival - they were luckily able to accommodate us for half board as otherwise we would have had a nightmare every evening trying to find food. There is only a kettle and no fridge in the room. They said they don't standardly tell people this for 'business reasons' - which felt short sighted and anti customer! 4. The hotel has very slow WiFi and very limited signal - our experience of WiFi was better on the slopes for over air wifi - making it pretty much impossible to eg watch netflix or work in the hotel. 5. There is limited soundproofing so you will be woken in the morning by others getting up. 6. The rooms are the minimum size possible for two people to fit their stuff and a shower. They do the trick but feel cramped. 7. There was only one power point in the room making charging things a constant juggling exercise. 8. The breakfast is continental only - decent quality but nothing hot apart from white toast and self boiled eggs.
This is a nice family run hotel for committed skiers. BUT some very important information you must know before booking which is not obvious. Overall, if you are looking for a very much ski focused break, not interested in apres, (or if you have a car) and are not very digital this would be a good choice. I wish I had know this in advance as we would have rented a car - unfortunately without the car it felt a little like a forced digital detox retreat which wasn't really what we were looking for! I also think we overpaid at 175 euro a night for bed and breakfast. But very nice, friendly and welcoming staff, and the restaurant is pretty nice.
