How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very well equipped apartment for a stop over in the beautiful town of Reims. We stayed with two children and it was ideal for us, very central, safe and super comfortable.

The only negative was that the apartment was slightly hot, but the weather was very warm when we stayed. There are fans available in every room, but no air conditioning.
The apartment is very well facilitated and the owner has put a lot of effort into making the guest's experience as comfortable. The apartment is located very close to the Basilique Saint-Remi which was amazing, along with the museum which was surprisingly good. The bakery just outside of the apartment was excellent and there are champagne houses close by. The main center of Reims is about a 20 to 30 minutes walk. Regis gave very detailed instructions how to find the apartment and met us in person to explain all of the practical information and also provided some local knowledge. We only stayed for one night, but would have happily stayed longer. If we go back to Reims then we will try and stay here again.

The apartment is spacious, has 2 balconies and everything you might need during the stay. The host has really thought of everything. Location is quiet and away from the city center but downstairs is all you need. A grocery, boulangerie, pharmacy, restaurant and much more. Center is a short walk away and there are many big champagne houses even closer by. We stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to stay even longer. It was so comfortable and cozy.

Perhaps some clothes hangers in the "master" bedroom (there is a wardrobe in the "twin" bedroom). We found it was cool enough with the provided fans (it was around 30C during our visit), but there is no aircon - standard in France, but may be a deal-breaker for some.
Friendly welcome, with good tips on local facilities - the nearby patisserie and restaurant are both very good. Very well-equipped, with welcome touches like a bean-to-cup coffee machine, selection of loose-leaf teas and preserves, milk and juice in the fridge. Even (hygienically-sealed) toothbrushes in the bathroom if you've forgotten anything. Usable balconies front and rear for al fresco coffee. Comfortable bedrooms, spacious lounge/dining room, compact kitchen still has plenty of worksurface and even a small table. Light and airy throughout. Very good location adjacent to Saint-Remi Basilica and museum, close to champagne houses Taittinger, Pommery and others. All-in-all, a very comfortable stay - it would have been nice to stay a night or two longer!

The host was waiting for us to handover the keys, and to explain all the facilities of the apartment. the communication is very clear, the welcome was super warm, and the apartment is fantastic. The host really goes beyond, with his service as well as with the amenities in the appartment, there was even cold water, mil and fresh juice in the fridge, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, but also bathroom amentities and everything is there for the laundry. The apartment is clean and super spacious. We forgot the jacket, and luckily the host went directly to the apartment to clean and called us direclty so we could still collect it. The host is a true host, with passion. Thank you for everything! We will certainly stay again when returning to Reims.

Lovely apartment. Very clean and well equipped. Our host was very helpful and thoughtful. Comfortable beds and wonderful shower. Regis provided coffee, milk and orange juice.

Lovely place in the city and perfect for a stopover on the way to Switzerland. The Host had thought of every little detail, from the tea and coffee and mini butter/jams/preserves to incredibly detailed instructions in multiple languages! Very impressed.

Very clean and well equipped apartment in a quiet but convenient location. About 100m from the Basillica and with trams or a 15 /20 minute walk to the city centre. Really nice touch was things like coffee, tea, jams being provided and a computer to use if you needed one. Parking was easy just outside the apartment on the public roads and was free.
