How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewPerfect location only five minutes walk from the beach. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of space.
Two small things that I’d change would be (as for almost everywhere) an elimination of all background digital lights on switches and appliances and a more comfortable for loafing on after a long day outdoors. Wi-Fi was patchy but workable.

Verified reviewWonderful resort near to the white beach with pool and restaurant. The appartments provide a comfortable stay near the beach. I someone don't like to cook the restaurant waits nearby. Fine pool nearby the restaurant, if the walk to the beach (approx. 300m) is to long to go. Very supportive service.

Verified reviewWe used several places to stay during our trip to Corsica, all of them were pleasant, but this was the best of them all! The apartment was well designed, relatively spacious, the kitchen had everything needed. It was very nice to sit outside. It was a short walk to the sea, about 5 minutes, the sea and the beach were very nice. The swimming pool was also amazing, in which especially the children had a great time. There is also a pool with slides for smaller children. The staff was always very nice, helpful, great communication before arrival. Since we are used to sorting waste from home, I also positively evaluate the containers for sorted waste, which we lacked in other accommodations. We also really liked the adjacent petanque court.
Perhaps the only downside of this place was the weak wifi. However, if you don't need to be connected all the time, it can be solved by getting closer to the reception or the pool, where the wifi is much stronger. What can be seen as a disadvantage is the distance of the residence from the nearest civilization and shops (approx. 15 minutes drive). But if you plan ahead, it's not a problem, and on the contrary, you'll find an amazing oasis of calm here.

Verified reviewThis is the one of the most wonderful places we have been. Location is fantastic, just 5 min waking to the great sandy beach.
The pool area is quite small. Local Restaurant menu is also not so diverse.

Verified reviewNot much. We booked for3 nights but left after the first night despite paying for three.
Firstly we had to make our own bed!!!!!! The apartment was tiny with no privacy. The restaurant was closed The internet was awful…. only available if you walked away from the room … The shower was dangerous, above the bath, only hand held and nothing to hold onto to. The TV remote did not work. The property is very remote and far from the main attractions with the length of time it takes to travel along the roads. The ratings given on booking.com just didn’t match up……9.2 superb……bull…!!!
First of all, we'd like to thank you for your comment, which is so nice to read. In 23 years of opening we have just obtained for the first time a mark below 7/10!!!! We must not have the same notion of "tiny" apartment, indeed 40 m2 for two it seems rather correct. Internet "horrible", unfortunately we are in a wilderness preserved beautiful nature and without pollution and so we do not enjoy the technology of the big cities, however we have invested a lot to allow you to have internet passing directly by satellite an innovation worthy of major metropolises. You must have mistaken it for a bathtub, not a shower. As you can see, we're rated 3 stars by Atout France, which means that the residence complies with French standards and that the bathtub is in no way dangerous for children or adults. Concerning the remote control, you should have asked us because the remote control for the air-conditioning doesn't turn on the TV, which is why we have a remote control dedicated to the TV. When you read the description of our establishment and its geographical location you must surely have seen that we are far away and that the car is necessary, however we are nevertheless close to wonderful sites not to be missed such as the tower of capo rosso, the beach of Arone, the reserve of Scandola as well as the creeks with a possibility of being picked up by boat on the beach unfortunately when we explained it to you only the wifi interested you. Finally, we'd like to thank our 124 other customers who gave us a 9.2 rating and who apparently got it wrong and didn't tell the truth about the hotel! In the end, perhaps it's this comment that doesn't describe the reality of our establishment... we'll let our future customers decide...
