Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was until 10am but when arrived at 9.40 there was little left and they were closing up.
Friendly helpful staff Quiet location but only 10 mns walk to busier area. Had to park 10mns away at IBIS as car park was full but not a problem Good place for our dog

The underground carpark is small with a very tight corner leading down to it which would not be good for a non-confident driver
Friendly staff, amazing breakfast and hotel has been recently decorated so is clean with a cool vibe.

Nothing.
Great shower. Comfy beds. Helpful staff. Parking available. Old Town accessible (20min walk). Cute courtyard to sit in. It was a good overnight stop on our way back from our holiday.

Air conditioning was not cold enough. Staff said they couldn’t change the temperature and supplied a fan. Had to sleep with windows open, too hot. Would not want to stay there in the heat of summer.
Great location, close to train station, restaurants, and tourism office for tour pick ups. Nice little bar. Would rate this higher if aircon had been satisfactory.

WC flush does not work properly. Lights turn on and off by themselves. TV remote control does not work. Shower cabin does not close. There is a slight odor in the room.

There was nothing to dislike, we loved our stay only thing to bear in mind the headroom for the car park is less than 2m so a bit tight if you're driving a van or impossible! But street parking was available at a reasonable cost. Thank you.
Very friendly reception staff, helped us park as our van wouldn't fit in the car park, allowed us to leave our bikes in the meeting room overnight. We were upgraded so had a lovely big room, the bed and bedding was the most comfortable ever! Very nice bathroom, kettle and selection of teas and coffee machine. Was very impressed and would definitely stay again. Bear in mind the headroom for the car park is less than 2m so a bit tight if you're driving a van or impossible! But street parking was available at a reasonable cost.

2nd floor where I was staying was under renovation but not a problem.
Reception staff was exceptionally friendly, effective and helpful. Very smooth check-in. Quiet little hotel, with convenient location with walking distance to city center and railway station.

To get out of the garage can be tricky, though we managed. The coworker doing the check out was probably still being trained - he didn’t wore a shirt/uniform and he didn’t ask the expected questions, like how we liked our stay, neither wishing us a pleasant trip home. As we all were apprentices once, it didn’t influence our overall experience, we enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely will come back next time we visit Tours.
Friendly staff on arriving, also I the morning when leaving for anneals walk with the dog. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, traditional with some extra details - local cheese, soja&almond drinks. There’s also an underground parking available.
