Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SerbiaTwo starts because hotel room did not deliver on what it promised in regards of wifi and hairdryer. No wifi: The first night we came, we did not have wifi, so we had to purchase SIM card nearby for 12 euros. On the second night wifi came, but it was so slow we have just sticked to SIM card's wifi. Bring your own hairdryer: They technically do have hairdryer, but you have to sing a prayer every time you dry your hair because it reeks since it is burned out and it felt like it could explode any minute. Cleanliness of the room: Room was okay cleaned (expect one hair found beneath a pillow), but everything outside of the room reeked of the mold. Also pictures on booking do not represent the real state of the room. Outside of the room is very dirty and dark.
Staff: Staff is very kind. Location: location is indeed good, metro 9 leads you directly to the city center and it is one minute away from the hotel, and there are lovely bakeries nearby, so that is covered. If they were more transparent about wifi and hairdryer, the official review would be 3.5/5. It is good if you are looking for budget friendly options and there are no other alternatives.

SerbiaCleanless. They only empty the garbage every day but we have not recognized any other cleaning activities there during our stay. Elevator is claustrophobic - barely only two persons can stay in it so we often needed to take the stairs and our room was on the 5th floor. During this up or down the stairs activities we saw dirt from last century. This carpet was bit vacumed for months! There were 4 of us (family) in the room and we got only 2 towels and two showed gels and soaps. When we complained,we got the third set. And the last but not less important, we haven’t got the Wi-fi internet during our stay. When we come back to the hotel,we realize that there is no wi-fi, go down to the reception to complain, then it’s suddenly start working for 30 mins and then it’s disaapear again, and that is how it looked First couple of days, later it wasn’t wi-fi at all. I am not sure also about the safety in this area, but we didn’t have any problems.
Location.Hotel was 10m from Metro Line 9 as well as the tram line.MC Dobalds is in front of the hotel as well as many other food restourants and some grocery shops and bakeries. Bads were quite comfortable!

RomaniaThe fact that on the first day I had no toilet paper and had to go to the reception twice to get half a roll of toilet paper. The fact that I found cockroaches in the bathroom. The fact that our towels were not changed at all. The fact that the room was not warm enough.
I liked that the room was quite large and I also liked the view out the large windows. The sealing of the windows was very good. I also liked that someone came in every day and swept the room.

SpainThe place needs massive refurbishment and repair. I think it was undergoing renovations. The room was functional but not decorated or charming. You just had what you needed, although it could have done with bedside tables. Also, the light bulbs for the small lamps above the bed gave off a purple light tiring to the eyes.
The staff was really nice and helpful. The tube station well located and the area very lively.
