The gentleman running the establishment is best in class. Loved that the hotel had air conditioning as it was very hot outside. The bathroom/shower was brand new and very beautiful and functional. Location was perfect.

If I could rate higher I would! We absolutely loved this little hotel. The location is perfect, the interior decoration so beautiful, so classy. Everything inside is done to perfection. But the best of all were the people. Benoit, the owner, is so welcoming and so friendly. And you must try his dinner option if available. The meal had there was the best so far in France. The rest of the staff were helpful and friendly, it was so nice to be welcomed back and have a little chat after a long day of sightseeing. Thank you so much to Cecile, Laurent and Gregory. And I have to mention the bed, pillows and linens - the best, most comfortable in our so far 4 weeks of travel!

Superb location and attractive restoration of a small historic building. Small number of rooms, but well-equipped and very tasteful, with highly attentive and friendly staff. Hit all the right notes.

This accomodations is one of the best we have ever stayed at. The room was good. Stylish, remodeled, comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The downstairs lounge and breakfast area is lovely. It has a great and relaxing style, with classy background music and comfortable seating. But what really makes the stay is the team. Cécile contacted us months in advance to help us make reservations in town. Upon arrival she reviewed them all with us to ensure everything was booked according to our desires. Her attention to detail is excellent. And Laurent was so delightful to chat with. We asked for recommendations and he gave us many. I don't have the words to properly express how pampered and welcomed we felt. One of the best stays we have ever had. Truly delightful beyond our wildest expectations.

We thoroughly loved this hotel. It is beautiful and welcoming hotel. The staff were all very gracious and helpful - even recommending restaurants and wine shops in St. Emilion. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely superb. Our dog was welcomed with open arms. Water bowl and food dish were set up in our room. Stunning bedding for our dog. She was invited to dinner as well. Our bed/ bedding was absolute perfection. Dinner with wine pairing was perfect. Staffs were friendly and extremely professional. Parking was easy, check in check out was easy. Absolutely beautiful Luxurious guest house/hotel combo. Interior decor was simple yet luxurious.

Historic building in the ancient walled city of St. Emilion -- beautifully redone with elegant & glam decor. Dinner by owner/chef Benoît Trocard was superb. Sweet, gracious staff.
